Smokescreen's p.o.v
Groaning, I noticed my knee struts were still sore. My circuits in my back not feeling the greatest either. Though, the sound of beeping was the real wake up call. I threw my pens over the side of the med bay berth to turn my optics to my yellow brother. The spark beat beeping on one of the many computer screens. I focused my optics on another bot in the dimly lit room. Ratchet had his arms crossed on his chassis as he fought to keep his optics open. His form resting against the cement wall as he sat upon one of our storage units.
"Good morning, Smokescreen."
"Mornin', Sire." The med bot smiled at me in return. "He's doing okay. He came to earlier, though I had him return to stasis for some re-."
The sound of Bee's form creaking and whirring filled my circuits. His optics flickered a few times before he finally let them rest on me. A small smile spread across his faceplates, "Hey, Smoke." I stood, Sire following. I held my servo for Bee to grab, he did so. I held it tightly.
"Please, stop doing this to me," I squeezed tighter. A servo landed on my shoulder plating, "to us." Ratchet added. Bumblebee laid his helm on the way back down on the berth. "I promise I don't plan on these things." Ratchet rolled his optics in return to the answer.
"Bee, you can't keep this up. One of these solar cycles it is not going to be like this. You aren't going to wake up and only be sore and put on berth rest. You could lose a servo, enter stasis lock for long cycles, or worse," I retorted. Bee placed his other servo on mine intertwined with his.
"Smokescreen, I do not wish to leave you, or anyone else. Nor do I plan on that. But, I want our home back. That means keeping this one safe too. Miko needed us today, it was worth the risk." I disagreed though. My brother being as stubborn as ever, and sounding more like Optimus Prime than the Prime himself. I shook my helm. I knew nothing I said was going to even make it to his processor.
"It's good to see you online, Bee."
Arcee slowly peered into the med bay, before completely arriving., "hey there, Bee." Bumblebee's helm raised, much to his abdomens dismay, his rotors grunting in argue. Arcee quickly made her way to him on the other side of the med berth. "Lay back, I just wanted to come and see how you were doing." Bumblebee laid his helm back in agreement. Leaving the two to talk, I left the med bay.
Bumblebee's p.o.v
Arcee pecked me on the faceplate before standing, "I have to pick up Jack. Bulkhead is getting Miko and Raf. We'll be back to greet you." I smiled at her before trying to get up. "Nuh-uh, absolutely not." Arcee placed her servo against my chassis.
Ratchet also mumbled in protest. "Ratch, I gotta get up. I will feel worse if I don't start stretching out." Sire scrunched up his faceplates at me, visibly disagreeing of course. Though, he scanned my form, the scanner turning a light shade of yellow at my midsection.
"Fine. However, there will be no transforming, no playing any type of games, no dancing, no funny business. I don't want you back in here for another month at the very least," he turned back around still grumbling underneath his breath. Arcee giggled a little before transforming, her hologram appearing on her motorcycle form.
"Drive safe, Cee. You too Bulk." Bulkhead nodded as he transformed and left base, Arcee not far behind. I was ready to see Raf, and of course check on Miko. I probably scarred her for at least a little while. Though I was sure she had seen worse just this year, being with Bulk and WheelJack wasn't exactly all sunshine and rainbows. Speaking of WheelJack, I was clapped on the back struts in between my door wings. I let out a small gasp and knocked over a tool, it clobbered to the floor, the end snapping off.
"WheelJack, Bumblebee, I needed that!"
WheelJack chuckled as he laid a servo on his hip, "well, now you need to fix it."
"I am done fixing things for the rest of this solar cycle, thanks to the both of you. Now get out of my sight before you are also in need of more repairs." WheelJack chuckled as he lead me out of the med Bay Area.
"How is my famous bug?"
"Oh, I'm bug now? Starscream give you my secret Decepticon nickname?"
"Figured you could use some down to Earth comments."
I glared at the bot, "real funny, Jackie."
He only smiled in return, "you know you love me."
