Bumblebee's p.o.v
I online to see Smokescreen doing some morning stretches. "What in the Primes are you doing?" His optics shot to me before relaxing a little and going back to stretching.
"Well, after you are tackled to the ground, twice need I remind you, I can confirm you are sore." Smokescreen groaned as he leaned forward, his peds together and knee cables locked. The sight was enough to make me shake my helm as I left the room, eager to start the day. Though, as soon as the door slid open, the alarm went off. I groaned and so did Smokescreen. We jogged down the hall, coming to a stop when we got stuck behind Bulk.
"Come on Bulk, there's cons that need to be dealt with!"
Finally, we made it to the main room. Everybot else was already in there.
"Smokescreen and WheelJack, I need you two here for backup. NightArrow, I would like for you and Miko to acquire you a vehicle mode. Arcee, escort them to a location. If needed, I will have Ratchet send a bridge," Optimus ordered. After everyone soaked in the information he turned to face the bridge as it powered on. "Autobots, transform and roll out!"
NightArrow's P.O.V
Arcee and I watched as our mechs ran out of base and into the ground bridge. Bumblebee looking behind him, meeting her optics before giving a curt nod. A way of telling her he would return. I smiled at the small gesture of reassurance. Miko was suddenly at my peds, looking up at me. "What should we look for? You could be a Camaro! Or a motorcycle like Arcee! That would be wicked!" I smiled at Miko who was very riled up at the thought of going out to help my choose an Earth form of transport.
"I like Arcee's transformation."
"A motorcycle? It suits you. It's perfect!" Miko was practically bouncing.
"Ratchet, come in Ratchet," Optimus was calling over the comm links.
"I'm here, Optimus."
"Bridge Arcee to us. Allow Miko and NightArrow to be bridged somewhere immediately. As we may require her assistance," the sound of blasting coming from behind the Prime. IronHide could be heard clear as day hollering at a group of cons before a loud bang went off.
"She is on her way now." Ratchet readied the ground bridge. Arcee gave me an apologetic smile as she wouldn't be joining us girls any longer. Right after the ground bridge powered down, Ratchet readied one for me and Miko.
As we were bridged to a cliff, there was an open road just at the bottom of it. I looked to Miko as she watched, excited. "So, Smokescreen?" I raised and optic brow.
"What about Smokescreen?"
"Oh, you know. You two just seem a little close if you know what I mean," Miko batted her lashes at me. I felt my faceplates warm a little at the accusation.
Before I could comeback, the rev of a motorcycle was flying down the highway. "It's perfect!" I nodded, focusing my scanner on the motorcycle, and followed through with it. I transformed, the muscled motorcycle keeping my colors. Miko whooped as I did a donut. "This is totally wicked."
Before we could celebrate too much a blast hit the rock next to us. I turned my tire to see Breakdown. I growled as I transformed. "And why exactly are you here?"
"I could ask you the same question, NightArrow." Miko gasped but took out her phone and snapped a picture.
"Miko, run!" The girl barely listened as she just took cover behind the rock we had been hiding behind before. I readied myself as Breakdown transformed his servo into a hammer rather than his blaster. Charging at him, he growled as he readied to smack me out of the air. I however rolled between his peds, swiping the inside of his leg with my knife before charging my blaster and getting him in the back struts. Breakdown stumbled forward before using the momentum to throw himself to turn around, smashing the hammer right into my shoulder plating. I grunted as I flew through the air, rolling in the dirt. My door wings smacking together. I groaned as I finally stopped rolling. Breakdown's ped steps were thumping as he came closer. I waited. Just as he grabbed my arm, I threw my left ped into his faceplate. The mech shouting in surprise, spitting energon into the dirt. Before I knew it, there was a ground bridge that appeared next to me. Smokescreen came through first, immediately attacking the con. The next was WheelJack, energon was slightly splattered on his chassis. Cold went through my circuitry.
"Who's energon is that," I couldn't help but ask.
"Not one of ours."
Smokescreen came skidding to a halt on his peds, Miko in tow. He leaned down, helping me up. WheelJack covered us, his katanas drawn, challenging Breakdown. We made it through the ground bridge as well as WheelJack. Arcee and Optimus were in the med bay with Ratchet. I sighed as I plopped down on a crate, leaning against the wall.
"Bulkhead! It was so cool! I have videos and pictures of Arrow kicking some serious Breakdown aft!" Bulkhead rolled his optics but gave her a small smile.
"Miko. You know that isn't any laughing matter. Arrow could have seriously been hurt." I waved him off, but said nothing. Miko showed Bulkhead the video.
The sound of me hitting the ground was heard. "Weak femme," Breakdown chuckled. I hadn't even known he said that. A couple of nanoclicks went by when I heard my ped connect with Breakdowns faceplate. Miko was heard cheering on the phone. I chuckled lightly.
Arcee's p.o.v
Bumblebee hovered of me as Ratchet worked on my arm. The shot from Soundwave was unexpected from the silent bot. It had burned into my arm though. "Bumblebee, I cannot finish with her until you give me some space. She is okay son, I just need you to take a ped step or two back," Ratchet reassured Bee. I nodded in agreement. He mumbled but stepped back for Ratchet. He placed a peck on my helm as he rubbed my back plating. He walked away to Smokescreen who was calling for him.
Bumblebee's p.o.v
"Bee," Smokescreen shouted from the corridor. I entered our berth room with an annoyed look.
"Smokey, what?"
He was practically gasping for air, I could hear his vents running overtime. "IronHide c-came up to me and he told me he knew what I felt for his daughter and he said that he would end me if I even thought about hurting her or pushing her to be with me and I just don't know what to do because he has all those guns and could probably dismantle me to make new ones and name them after me in clever ways," Smokescreen rambled, barely stopping to breathe.
I laid my servos on his shoulder plating, "chill the frag out. IronHide would never. He just cares for Arrow. Very much. What else did he say?"
Smokescreen smiled at the question, "he said that he would give me a pass since I was your brother and Ratchet's son. He gave me permission! He thinks that Arrow may feel the same way!" I rolled my optics. Of course Smokescreen would overreact.
"Well then there you go, nothing to worry about."
"How do I talk to her?" I facepalmed.
Though, it was almost time for the sun to set for the day. "How about you take her to the top of base to watch her first sunset?"
Smokescreen beamed at the idea, grabbing me into a hug. He ran out of the room to hopefully not make a fool out of himself. I sighed as I stepped back out. It was time to take Raf home. And I would most likely need to take Jack home for Arcee.
My guess was correct. Jack, Raf, and Miko were all fighting over who got to choose what music to listen to on the ride home. Somehow Bulkhead had managed on skipping out. Claiming he wanted to catch up with IronHide. Miko wasn't the happiest but understood where Bulk was coming from. Jack was up first, Mrs. Darby already waiting in the driveway, her arms crossed.
"Jack, I said nine. It is nine-fifteen." Raf and Miko snickered as the boy stepped out.
"Bee was driving slow," he tried. I mock gasped at his accusation. June knowing well that I was never slow. She just shot me a wink as she escorted Jack inside. I flashed my headlights as a way of waving. Taking the other two home in a timely manner.
