Song: Sparks Fly by Taylor Swift

"Get me with those green eyes, baby ... As the lights go down, give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around."

In the car, I kept my focus out the window as Henry drove. Outside was already pitch dark with some light posts here and there as we traveled along what seemed like an endless road.

After what felt like an eternity, Henry pulled into a gravel driveway towards a reclusive house. Whatever was in there, Henry was sure that I was going to like it.

If I didn't, he promised to leave us alone. In some strange way, I was afraid I wouldn't like it.

Once he parked the car, he hurried to my side to open my door.

"Let's go inside," Henry said. "You must be tired and hungry."

"How can I trust you?"

"Just come inside and you'll see," he said with a grin, one I'm unable to read.

Henry extended his hand out to me. I glanced momentarily at his hand and then back up to him.

"I can manage by myself," I said, climbing out of the car and pushing his hand away. A few seconds later, I heard the car door close behind me. I waited for Henry to open the door but was confused as to why he knocked on it instead. Wasn't this a house of his?

The door quickly opened and immediately I knew, I had lost to Henry.

"Eve?"

"Ally!" She pulled me into a hug, and I felt my eyes growing damp.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I reluctantly pulled away to see her face. It looked smaller than before.

"I live here," she chuckled. "Did Henry not tell you?"

"No, he didn't," I said, looking over to him who was shaking hands with Rick.

"I wanted it to be a surprise," Henry said with a satisfied expression.

Eve stepped over to hug him. "Thank you for bringing her, Henry."

"Anytime."

"I hope you mean that," Eve teased.

"It's good to see you, Ally," a bearded Rick said, embracing me. "The kids will be so excited to know you're here. We haven't told them yet, but they're asleep right now. You can surprise them in the morning."

"No wonder the house is so quiet," I said, peeking through the house.

"Come in. We're just about to eat dinner," Eve said.

We all moved into the dining room to find Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester setting up the table for dinner. After more hugs and greetings, everyone settled down for a very late dinner.

"So tell me what's new with you two?" Eve asked.

"Uh, well...Henry and I-," I glanced quickly over to Henry who sat next to me before back to Eve. "We're good. We hardly see each other because of our work schedules but yeah, we're good."

"Yes, that's right. The new job. How do you like it there?"

"It's great. It's harder than I thought, working in an office setting, but my coworkers are really helpful and kind and the place is very welcoming. How about you? Do you miss Chicago?"
