It's weird. My stomach plummets and my eyes water. It starting that numbness. It creeps into you feet and starts to spread up your legs and you feel it. It's like a virus slowly making its way through a system. But it's spreading and it never stopped at your knees but you can't help but hope it would. But like always it spreads slowly making its way to you stomach and up you spine. It feels like finger tips slowly brushing your skin. Down you arms till you feel it hit your finger tips. Than it starts up you neck as slowly as possible. And it reaches your head just as the tears start to fall from your eyes. But the worst part is the last one when it starts to circle your heart and instead of this numbness everywhere else it's a retching pain as if your heart has been stolen from your very chest. He said the words and you heard them. I love her. He said it as if you meant nothing and in his eyes you were. And you love him. You always have.
