This was unbelievable. Never in my entire life had any figured out my secret identity so fast. This was uncanny. Adrien was just as shocked as I was. Adrien's grip on me tightened, causing me to wince. He quickly apologized and he loosened his grip on me.

"Did he- Did my father tell you or did you- Did you figure it out on your own?" Adrien asked, having the idea that the reason that she knew about us so fast was that she had legitimately just met with Gabriel before she came here.

She nodded, sighing, "Yes, he told me. I just don't understand why. What could he possibly gain from this?" She gestured to Adrien, referring to the scar she had seen previously on his chest.

"I can answer that for you, Emilie," Kayla said, flying above into the air and sitting on top of my head.

Emilie screamed. "y-y/n, are you- Are you aware of the thing sitting on your h-head?" Emilie stuttered, pointing to Kayla.

"What are we talking about? Cheese? Camembert specifically?" Plagg asked, floating in front of me.

This only made Emilie freak out even more at this point.

"I was just telling y/n's sister- no wait it's- daughter- Plagg, help me out here. You know more about humans than I do. What is Grace to y/n? Her what-in-law?" Kayla asked Plagg, tilting her head in confusion.

"If I have enough knowledge on this, it is safe for me to assume that Emilie is her mother-in-law or something like that. I don't pay enough attention to these things." Plagg shrugged.

"Anyway, I was just going to explain to her why Gabriel wanted to have access to y/n and Adrien's miraculouses so badly," Kayla explained.

"Can someone please explain what they are?" Emilie asked, backing away from the kwamis.

"We are kwamis, we grant powers to those with kind hearts like your son and your da- daughter-in-law? Yeah, daughter-in-law." Kayla said, pointing to Adrien then at me.

"I grant Adrien the power of destruction," Plagg said, floating in Adrien's direction. "And I grant y/n the power of hope."

"But that's not the only power we grant them. You see, when Gabriel became Hawkmoth, I was created for the sole purpose of being miraculous to put a stop to the Butterfly brooch because it had gotten into the wrong hands."

"Kayla comes from a different miraculous box than I. In my miraculous box, it consists of the black cat ring, the ladybug earrings, the fox necklace, the turtle bracelet, the bee comb, the peacock brooch, and butterfly comb. The great guardian then took it upon himself to give Adrien and exam to test his kindness, he passed and so, he got the black cat ring."

"In my miraculous box, we have the butterfly necklace, the siren crown, the white lion ring, the bulldog chains, the polar bear bracelet, the deer choker, and the red panda anklet. y/n took a test but not the day of, it was several weeks before."

"Hey, how come Sean gave you all the cool animals?" Plagg asked Kayla.

"Wow, thanks for the ego boost, Plagg." Adrien rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, skipping to the point. When the miraculouses with most powers are combined and a user is wearing them, they will receive god-like powers. Those miraculouses are the cat ring, butterfly necklace, siren crown, and the ladybug earrings." Kayla explained, ignoring the arguing of Adrien and Plagg.

"Oh, but you're forgetting something, Kay. Tikki has been lost for years." Plagg reminded her.

"Wait a minute," I said, realizing what the two kwamis were talking about.

I picked Kayla up so that she was sitting in the palms of my hands. "What happened to Victoria's kwami?"

Kayla shrugged, smiling sadly, "Ever since Marinette went to the dark side, Tikki escaped and she's been lost ever since."

"But is her kwami okay? How did she get lost in the first place?" Adrien asked suddenly.

"We don't know. One day I went to check on her and she was gone. No trace of her. Like she vanished out of thin air."

"We have to find her. We have to make sure she's okay." I told Adrien and he nodded.

He suddenly gasped, "What if Enchantress took her? She might use her as bait against us!"

It was true. It made sense. It was definitely a possibility but not one that I wanted to believe.

"Wait, who is- Who is Enchantress? Who are we talking about? Is she another superhero?" Grace asked, feeling left out of the conversation.

Adrien scoffed, "She is far from being a hero. She is Hawkmoth's replacement."

Enchantress was a person-  a being that haunted my dreams almost as much as Victoria did. Sometimes I had this insane idea implemented in my brain that the two were working together to take us down but that didn't make any sense. I couldn't believe it and I wouldn't believe it.

At first, I thought Adrien's father said that just to scare us but... as it would turn out he purposely left his miraculous in his lair for his replacement to take when Star and I weren't looking. Enchantress told me to my face just how stupid I am. How I didn't even bother to look and see if he left something in the lair.

"You okay, y/n?" Adrien asked, wrapping an arm around me.

I nodded then turned my attention back to Emilie, "Anyway, that should explain why Gabriel did what he did. Although, it is still no excuse."

"I'm really sorry you two but now, I've just made a mess of things."

I didn't understand how she could possibly have made a mess of things. It didn't make any logical sense.

"Why? What happened?" Adrien tilted his head in confusion.

Emilie let out a breath then said, "I am so so sorry sweety but uh- Before Gabriel told me that he hurt you and that he was Hawkmoth, I released him from prison. He's filling out the paperwork right now."

That was the one thing. The one thing that Emilie could say that could hurt Adrien. Before, Adrien had felt safe because at least then, he was held in prison where he could find no way to hurt Adrien but now that he was free, he could torment Adrien to his heart's content. Adrien hugged me and started crying. This was only the beginning and Gabriel wasn't even near Adrien yet.

I'm sorry guys but like, you knew that it was coming. I knew, you knew, we all knew, actually, I'm only assuming that we all knew but you know what, it's a part of the plot, alright? Anyway, imma bout to get hypothermia out here in the cold so I'm going to put my phone away in my backpack. Anyway, as always, I love you guys so freaking much, byeee!
