Chapter 10

Sorry this chapter is short but hey, at least I updated.

Also, a year and ten days ago I finished Percy and Nico Undercover at Hogwarts so in honor of that, I will be starting a new story. The summery and cover are posted on my page so yeah, go add it to your libraries. It's called The Bane of Olympus (at least until I think of another title).

Omega's POV

"What is planet Chaos? I've read about it but it's all only rumors," was the first question asked, and it was asked by Annabeth, the most logical of the group.

I thought for a second on how exactly to answer. "It's a place, a lot like Earth, that has two rulers: Chaos and Order. I'm not one hundred percent sure how exactly to describe it, as I have only visited a handful of times when I was needed there and I've mostly only seen battlefields, the Underworld, and Chaos' Palace."

"Why would you have seen battlefields?" Jason asked and I turned to look at him.

"Planet Chaos lives up to it's name. It's not a peaceful place. Not even close. It's all one big civil war."

"If you're so powerful, why don't you stop it?" A ten-year-old who looked vaguely like Clarisse asked.

I just shook my head. "You don't understand. The enemy is much older than I am and is just as powerful as me, if not more. His name is Demand. He's the child of Chaos and his sister Order. He's the reason that I'm not allowed to have children." Everyone gave me either a confused or a worried look.

"Bad things happen when powerful people have children. You guys all have experience with that." They all nodded. "Next question."

"We're told that Chaos sent you down here to help us with the war. How exactly are you going to fight primordial?" Frank asked and I shrugged.

"I've fought bigger and badder and won, or at least tied. You guys don't need to worry about that as long as we get back from our quest on time."

Jason stood up to ask his question. "How do we get to Planet Chaos and is there an Underworld there where we retrieve Percy's soul?"

"I ask Chaos to summon me a portal and it will take us to the surface of the planet. And yes, there is an Underworld. As for retrieving a soul, it's nearly impossible and the consequences are...dire."

"How so?" he challenged.

"One will have to stay for one to leave," I announced and everyone gasped. No one was expecting that.

"But the water from the head will bring back those who are dead!" someone called and I looked at the person. It wasn't a question. It was a statement.

"That may be, but it's not a certain thing. The prophecy does not say the state that you will be in when brought back. It may just be temporarily. Or maybe as a zombie." People were not liking the words that I was saying, and I couldn't disagree with that. I wouldn't want to hear this either.

After a moment, I added. "To get Percy back, one of you will have to die. Only come on the quest if you're prepared to do that."

Everyone was still freaking out and I gave Piper a pointed look and she understood.
"Everyone calm down," she said and everyone calmed. "Now, unless you're on the quest, you don't need to worry about this, so calm down and Immortals, keeps asking questions."

Other questions were asked, but they were of no importance, until the last one. Until Nico's question.

Something about the boy intrigued me. I'm not sure what it is, but I respect him the most out of all the campers. I even showed him my true personality.

When Nico asked his question, I was shocked and thankful that no one could see my face. It even took me a moment to respond.

"We need a leader for this war. A true leader and none of us are anything compared to you. Will you lead us?"

I gave a one-word answer.

"Yes."
