                                  Chapter 1
Shelby's P.O.V
It was late in the afternoon and I had to edit a video I had just made.the shadows crept along the walls."The moon's casting some strange light tonight.",I said to myself "Oh well."
I needed to stop and take a break.So I went to ihop to eat so I could edit to.
(TIME SKIP TO IHOP)
I got there and sat at a table I pulled out my earbuds ordered some food and started editing my video.Then 3 other boys sat at the table next to me."Excuse me can you turn down the sound on your computer." someone said but I couldn't hear him."hey!"he said tapping my shoulder."Huh?"i said taking one of the earbuds out of my ears.it was a man that wore jeans,a black undertale printed t-shirt,a red beanie and a z necklace I wasn't sure what the z stood for.He looked down at my laptop."Oh um  I'm sorry ...am I bothering you?",I said. "uh ya!" "Oh sorry" I was done editing anyway so I put my laptop away.i didn't mean to but I did here the 3 boys at the tables convirsation."Come on Max you've got to get out of this mood you're in,you're really starting to bum people out.",a man with curly brown hair and glasses said."You know I've been in a bad mood all day!",the one said."Well Adams write that was kinda rood.", said a boy with strait dirty blond hair and glasses.he sighs "Whatever!"
(TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY)
I was out around the mall to get my guitar.It broke so I had to go get it.I was close to the store when all of sudden a crowd of people came around bumping into me I couldn't get around them all.I finally saw something out of the corner of my eye and it was the shop!I tried to run to it but then someone bumped right into me and I lost my balance.I tripped and fell towards the water fountain that was in the middle of the mall.There was a clear enough path for me to get through now but it was to late I was about to fall into the water fountain!I let out a small scream and then someone pulled me away and caught me.I opened my eyes and it was that man with the z necklace."Are you ok?",he asked "ya I'm fine.",I said akwardly."Uh thank you." Your welcome.",he said back to me."I'm Shelby.",i said. "Hi I'm-" "oh no I gotta go sorry!" Then he ran off.He dropped his red beanie he was wearing yesterday."Wait! You dropped your-",he was to far away.So I picked it up and I hoped that I would see him again.
