Max's P.O.V
We put her down on the couch for the third time this week.I don't know what it is but she's had some kind of connection with it.I was standing right next to her holding her hand that was completely motionless.Adam,Ross,Red,and the medic we called we're all standing close by.Then all of a sudden she opened her eyes."Shelby!Oh my god thank you!You're ok!",I said as excited as could be."How do you feel?",Ross asked."Fine I guess.",she said shyly."Shelby you do not have any idea how worried I was.",I exclaimed."Ok.I just have one question.",she said."What is it?",Adam asked quickly."Who are you guys?",she asked.I could feel my face turn pale I looked at everyone else.Adam stepped back."What do you mean?Shelby this has to be a joke...right?!",I said.She stared at me blankly."Cause if this is a joke it's not funny."We all looked at the doctor."It sounds like she hit her head hard enough that she doesn't have a concision but lost her memory.But if she doesn't get it back by sunset she could lose her memory about everything that happened before this.",he said.Adam stepped back I could tell he was fighting back tears.The doctor walked out the door and left."This is my fault.If I hadn't told her about her past we would've never been in this situation.",Adam cried.But I was half listening."Shelby you have to remember.",I begged."What about when I first saw you at IHOP,or when we went to the beach that one night,the first night on the Ferris wheel.",she said nothing.She shrugged.I put my hands in hers."The first time We bumped into each other at the mall.",I said fighting back tears."I'm sorry.",she said obviously confused.P-please Shelby.",I said tears streaming down my cheeks."I'm sorry I don't remember any of you I don't know where I am I don't even remember my name.",she said.She pulled her hands away."I know you don't remember this but the first night on that Ferris wheel.I told you you'll never be alone.But right now-I feel the complete opposite.",I cried tears streaming down my cheeks.I felt like I had been stabbed in the back.I got up and started to walk way when she said."Guys is this mine?"I turned around and gasped."Max is that the-"That's the one.",I said finishing Adam's sentence for him.She was holding the red beanie I had lost."I know this hurts but why so much!""BECAUSE I LOVE HER OKAY!",I yelled.Everyone step back."Just leave me alone.",I said walking to my office.I locked the door and slumped down in front of it.I put my hands to my face and cried."What have I done."
