Max's P.O.V
She took me through the trees and it took us a couple minutes to get there."Were here!",Shelby exclaimed I looked around at everything that was a little rustic."Shelby I don't understand...why did you want to take me here?",I said confused "Just follow me and I'll tell you in a second.",she exclaimed running.I followed her to one of the tallest things here."Shelby I don't think this is safe""don't worry just...don't look down.",she said to me climbing up a tall ladder.I followed her up the ladder.She stepped onto to one of the carts."You know I'm afraid of heights.",I jokingly said climbing in the cart.I sat down."Oh really then how are you going to get down?",she asked giggling."I...didn't think about that.",I pointed.We both laughed."So why did you bring me here?",I asked her."Well you said you liked looking at the stars and as soon as you said that...I remembered this place.And plus this place has been closed for a while now...and the only thing that still works is this."She flipped a switch and all the lights turned on to make you be able to see for miles."Shelby...""I've never brought anyone else here..ya know...except you and ...this is where I escape the world at night sometimes."Just listening...""Shelby this is amazing!"We looked into each other's eyes."Shelby what is the necklace for?",I asked it kind of looked like a symbol."Oh...this?Its a necklace my brother gave me a while back..before he...passed.",she said "Shelby I'm-""it's okay...it reminds me that he's giving me strength.",she grasped onto her necklace tears rolled down her cheeks."Shelby.",I said with sympathy for her."Please don't cry.",I said wiping the tears off her face.I put my arm around her.She stiffened up and then relaxed."You know I'll always be here for you never forget that.You can always come and talk to me.""Stars sure are pretty tonight.",I said.She didn't respond.She put her hand down on top of mine.she squeaked.And then she put her hand back down.And rested her head on my shoulder."I will never forget that.",she sniffed
She closed her eyes and we both say there for a while looking at the stars...
