The Beginning Of Forever

Chapter 2 Jacobs POV

IT was my second year at college when I met her. The girl I knew I'd spend the rest of my life with. She was just sitting there on my bench, well its not mine its the schools. But it was the bench I went to to do all my thinking and reading. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She had beautiful auburn hair and green eyes. She didn't even look up from her book when I walked over.

"Its nice to see that I'm not the only bored one here." I said with a kind of half smile. "This is the part of the conversation where you tell me you're name and ask me to sit down."

"Oh gosh! Sorry. Would you like to sit?" She said I could see her cheeks flush from embarrassment and chuckled a little to myself.

"Yes. Thank you. I'm Jacob."

"Katie." The pretty girl said smiling at me. That smile made me a little weak in the knees and I was sitting down.

"So, what year are you Katie?" I asked trying to find out as much about this girl as I could. She told me she was a freshman that year and that she was from Alabama. We walked the campus for a while and every know and then I caught her just staring at me. Which was fine because I stared at her too because she just so beautiful. I told her some of my corny jokes and she laughed at all of them. She kept apologizing about her laugh and she told me that she hated it but I told her I thought it was cute.

By the time classes started I couldn't get enough of her. I spent as much time with her as I possibly could. I went to her softball games and she came to my soccer games. We spent so much time together I knew it was time to tell her. But I wasn't sure how. The day I was trying to plan it she passed me on her way to softball practice.

"Hey Jacob!" She said smiling. I saw her but I didn't stop to talk to her. I had to much running through my mind. She called my name again but I didn't stop walking away from her. She must think I hate her now...I hope I didn't just screw up what I had with her...shit...
