*Kimiko's POV*

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

"Miko! Are you in there?! MIKO!" A voice and banging on the door interrupted my sleep. Kouta let out a whine before rolling over on his back and covered his ears.

"Kid, go answer the door and make him stop."

"No. I'm tired." I grumbled.

"MIKO!" *BANG*

I growled under my breath before turning over and throwing the blankets and pillows over my head. I hate mornings. Kouta snarled as the banging on the door continued. I'll just ignore him.

"GET UP! YOU'RE LATE!" A voice boomed in my ear as I let out a scream. Kakashi stood at the front of my bed with an angry look across his face.

"How did you get in here?"

"I have an extra key from the Hokage. Get up! You're 2 hours LATE. Class has already begun. Honestly, I thought you were already there when Iruka contacted me. Hurry up."

"I don't feel like going today. Maybe in 5 more years, Kakashi. Besides, from what the villagers had been saying, you show up to places pretty late too."

"Shut up. I'll treat you to whatever you'd like for dinner if you go, and please behave around Iruka."

My eyes lit up, ignoring his last comment. That means SUSHI FOR DINNER TONIGHT! "Alright, I'll go. C'mon Kouta. Get up. I need to get ready, and if you would, please leave." Kakashi gave a sigh and walked out the door to who knows where. What excuse should I use today?

"KIMIKO HATAKE. YOU ARE AT LEAST 2 HOURS LATE TODAY, AND WHAT IS THAT DOG DOING HERE!?"

"Do not speak to milady like that or it'll be the last thing you will ever say."

" It's okay Kouta, and for your information, that isn't just any dog, he's a wolf and he's my partner,Kouta. He's staying or I'm leaving. We tripped on the way here and was knocked out unconscious for 2 hours." Kouta grunted before turning to the class and eyed them suspiciously. They all froze in fright as I let out a chuckle and patted his head. So this must be the Iruka oniisan was talking about. He seems fun to mess with.

"MIKO-CHAN! HI! HI! HI!" A voice shouted from above. I looked up to see Naruto grinning widely and bouncing up and down excitedly. I gave him a grin before Iruka glared at me.

"NARUTO! PIPE DOWN BACK THERE!" Iruka shouted. The blonde, blue-eyed boy sat down with a disappointed face and glared at his sensei.

"Class, this is Kimiko Hatake. She just got to the village yesterday and will now be joining us. I'm Iruka and I'll be your homeroom teacher until you graduate. Er...do you mind putting those..weapons away?"

"I can introduce myself just fine thank you very much, Iruka. These swords are a special to me so no."

"I think you mean Iruka-sensei."

"I'll call you what I want."

Iruka let out a sigh, giving me a blank stare as everyone snickered. "Fine. Just go to your seat. You'll be sitting between Shikamaru and Kiba over there." He pointed over to a boy with red fang-like markings on his cheeks and messy brown hair. The other boy was the one I saw last time when I was with Naruto. "Just like her brother. Great." I heard him mumble as I walked to my seat.

"Hey." Shikamaru lazily mumbled as I sat down. Kouta laid down next to me, continuing his sleep from this morning. I gave him a little wave before letting out a big yawn and closed my eyes, trying to go back to sleep. I already know most of the things Iruka is teaching, so what's the point of listening?
