3rd POV

"Well?" Ibiki questioned, seeing Inoichi open his eyes and gently lifting his hand away from the now conscious girl's head.

"We need to see the hokage now."

They quickly made way up to the hokage's room but was surprised to see it already open. Kimiko let out a giggle seeing Kakashi standing next to the hokage's desk and ran towards him for a hug.

"Ah, there you are. How did it go?" The hokage greeted and stood up, closing the door and returned back to his desk.

"K-Ki...Kihaku...She has the Kihaku sealed inside her." A gasp escaped from everyone's mouth as they glanced over to Kimiko. She stood next to Kakashi in silence. Kouta appeared in the room and wagged his tail, seeing Kimiko. He quickly dropped off a package to the hokage, earning him a small treat, and made way towards her, quietly laying down next to her feet.

"B-but that...the wolf demon was said to be gone thousands of years ago!" Kakashi's outburst suddenly took everyone by surprise.

"Yes...but not only that, it appears she had the first hokage's DNA transferred inside of her. She's able to use the wood and ice release and also has all the chakra natures."

Everyone's eyes widened at such a thought. How could such a little girl as young as Kimiko have this much power? The Kihaku's chakra was even worse than a Jinchuuriki!

"I see...so it was true..There's nothing else we can do about this, but keep this information a secret. If word gets out, who knows what will happen." The hokage muttered under his breath, scribbling a few things down on Kimiko's profile. "You are not to speak a word about any of this, do you understand? You as well Kimiko."

Everyone quickly nodded and bowed before leaving.

Kimiko's POV

"Where are you taking me exactly?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow following along as I dragged his arm out of the old mans office. Kouta followed behind obediently.

"We're going to the sushi restaurant of course! Kouta and I behaved today so you're treating us to dinner!" I heard him let out a low sigh muttering about his money.

"WE'RE HERE!~~" I just found this place randomly by walking around town. Kekeke. "Table for 2 please!"

"Uhm..sorry,ma'am, sir, we have a no animal policy in here.."

"Guess Kouta is staying outside.." Kakashi muttered. Oh no he isn't. Kouta let out a low dangerous growl, his eyes starting to glow red.

"Yes, what was that policy again? I'd like a table for 2, please." I smirked to myself as the man let out a squeak.

"P-Please f-follow me." He gave us a menu before stepping back slowly and dashed away.

"That was...terrifying.."

"Yes well, get use to it dear brother. This will be considered normal sooner or later. Since you said it's your treat, WAITER! I'LL HAVE ONE EACH OF EVERYTHING ON THIS MENU!"

"W-WAIT JUST A MOMENT THERE! THAT'S TOO MUCH!"

"YOU SAID IT WAS YOUR TREAT!"

"I DIDN'T THINK YOU WOULD PRACTICALLY BUY THE WHOLE STORE!"

"Oniisan is being mean...." I pretended to cry as everyone in the restaurant suddenly glared at Kakashi. Fake tears, what would I do without you.

"Fine. Just stop drawing attention to us." He muttered.

I suddenly stopped crying and wiped the fake tears away. He glared, but soon softened and let out a small smile. The waiter brought out the sushi and set them down slowly, eyeing Kouta and backed out slowly. Kouta let out a small grunt, lying down and probably going back to sleep. I'll need to buy him dinner later. I looked around at the friendly atmosphere and saw smiles and laughter. Somehow, it made me feel warm inside. I squealed as I took a bite of the delicious sushi in front of me. Kakashi let out a small chuckle and soon fell quiet.

"It's nice to have you back, you know. I may have not showed it but, I missed you. Ever since...dad and...my team was gone, you were the only one dearest to me I had left. When I found out you were gone and that man was behind it, I thought my life was over. I felt lost and empty. I should have never left you out of my sight. I'm sorry, Kimiko. I know you won't forgive me, but I just needed to let it out." He looked down at his plate of food, refusing to look at me in the eye.

"Oniisan..look at me." His eyes hesitantly looked up but stayed on my face as I spoke. "Of course I forgive you. How could I not? Even if you watched over me everyday, it wouldn't make a difference. You wouldn't be doing your job as an ANBU. It's been quite sometime but I'm here safe and sound! Well, except...the ice and wood release thing, including that wolf demon thing you guys were talking about earlier. It's alright though! I know how to control it."

"That's good to hear! How are you liking the village so far?"

"I love it! I made a new friend a while ago! There were three more kids I met at the academy but I don't know if I would consider them as a friend or not."

"Oh? Who?"

"The new friend I made was Naruto Uzumaki! He's great and really fun! He's like a little ball of energy!"

"You're one, too."

"Yes, and everyone loves me. Anyways, those other three kids I met in the academy were uh...hold on...I'm trying to remember..."

"You forgot their names?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, I remember! Their names were Kiba Inuzuka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi! Shikamaru and Choji are pretty nice I guess, but I don't really know about the dumb mutt. He has serious issues I'm telling you! His face suddenly turns red every time he see's me and he likes to tease me. What's even worse is he always tries to challenge me into these weird contests or matches! I mean, they're fun once in awhile but it always gets tiring! I guess he's alright sometimes but..."

Hearing this, Kakashi's eyes suddenly widened. He let out a small cough before getting up and paying the bill. "L-Let's go."

"Eh, is something wrong?"

"No, no, nothing! They all seem like nice fellas!" He let out a small chuckle as we walked back together in silence. "Is something wrong Miko?"

"Well...I was just wondering but..why do the villagers dislike..Naruto? Isn't he a normal kid besides the fact that well..he doesn't..have parents and lives alone?"

Kakashi let out a small sigh before patting me on the head. "Naruto isn't...like the other kids. He's had it the hardest out of everyone. Why exactly? That's because of the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside of him. His parents were very brave. They protected the village from the fox and sealed it inside of their own son. In fact, Naruto's father was my sensei. You remember the story I told you of how the nine tails went on a rampage?"

I nodded my head. Although I was only one, I had an extraordinary memory.

"For someone as young as a year old, you remember things well! Anyways, the son I told you about was Naruto. I'm sure he doesn't know anything about it so please don't say anything to him."

I nodded again as we reached up the stairs and stopped at our doors.

"Well, good night."

"Night, oniisan." I said, opening the door and letting myself in. Poor Naruto...I didn't know he had it that hard. Kouta's stomach let out a low and loud growl as he pawed at the fridge. I let out a small giggle before opening it and taking out a giant steak and heating it up. "Sorry 'bout that boy. I was just thinking a little too much. No matter! I will not show him pity. That's probably the worst thing to do considering everything I heard. He deserves to be treated normally so he will!" I saw Kouta roll his eyes, listening to me talk to..well..partially myself. "Yeah, I guess I really am crazy...Well, get used to it! I'm going to bed now, just leave the plate there when you're done. I'll clean it up in the morning. Sweet dreams, Kouta!"
