I placed my mace into my beanie and passed it around.
Nova began to explain the game "We'll pick an item from the hat and that determines our partners for each game. It's usually just for 7 minutes but everyone always fights to be Skye's partner, but we all can't have her now can we?" She winked at them and I glared daggers at her. She turned to me "Remember the little blond boy was so happy he got you last time?"
"Yes I remember Mitsukuni. Stubborn thing made it a tie." I huffed "He wasn't even supposed to come to the party, he's too innocent."
"He seemed to just want an excuse to kiss you." Nova cooed and nudged my ribs
"It's just a game so why does that part matter." I rolled my eyes at her childishness and crossed my arms over my chest
"Says the girl that refuses to lose." she huffed in defeat
"I'm competitive. So who wants to go first?" I asked not really caring who went
"You should Skye." Nova winked and nudged my ribs again
"You're so childish. It's just a game Nova." I said monotoned as closed my eyes and pulled the first thing I felt out of the beanie. "Blue cloth?"
"Blue cloth." Kaoru said with a smirk
I sighed and took a piece of pocky from one of the packages Nova so kindly decided to shove in my face the second I passed the beanie (A/N: So much sarcasm there XD)
"Chocolate or-" I cut myself off when I saw Kaoru take the piece of pocky and put it between his teeth with the chocolate side facing me (It's just the normal chocolate one btw. I didn't feel like picking a flavor so I went with the normal one. At least I think it's the normal one.) "Oh"
I placed the other end between my teeth. We inched closer and I thought Kaoru would pull away, leaving me victorious but he didn't. Our lips touched and he turned redder than a tomato before quickly pulling away. I just shrugged it off; unfazed by it.
"Well he pulled away first so I guess you kinda win Skye." Nova started and I just shrugged
"Tie." I said monotoned "I'll live." I picked up the hat and passed the beanie over
