We were just about to get up and leave until things took a turn for the worst. "Skye!" I could hear one of the mascots call out. I glared at him when I saw his face hen he took his costume's head off, showing who he was. "She's alive!" He screamed even louder. It was that moment I stopped hating him as my eyes went wide. "She's-" The sound of gunfire filled the air. He'd been shot by a hooded figure. I knew exactly who it was.
"This isn't over Skye Night!" The figure warned me. "You will pay you little whore!"
"Night?!" Everyone stared at me in fear, but not the group. I was wrong. It was different. They were different.
Haruhi put her hand on my shouldered. "Let's go." I nodded
I ran out as fast as I could the others trailing behind me. "Can we make a stop please?" I asked everyone in a frail and nervous voice when we got to the car.
"Of course." Tamaki said, his soothingly kind
"Thanks Barbie." I mumbled as I turned the ignition key
I pulled up to my manor and we all got out of the car.
"This is a rather small town." Kyoya said fixing his glasses again.
"It's not a town. It's my family estate." I said monotoned as I unlocked the door to my mansion. "It's the smallest of all of them." I continued. They all gasped at my statement. "Well, come on." I said as I walked inside
I walked through the house to the candle room. They followed close behind me, understanding to be quiet by the candle room. I pulled out a holder, a candle, and a match. I lit the candle and blew it out after saying a prayer. I walked out of the room, meeting the others who had respectfully waited outside the door.
"I guess I might as well tell you." I muffled, my head hung. "You can make yourselves comfortable. I'll make some tea."
Kyoya's P.O.V
We sat down in a large room and Skye brought us hot tea on a large silver platter. She also put out an array of honeys, creams, milks, and sugars before she sat down next to me and sighed lightly.
"So your of the Night family?" Tamaki asked "I get it. You didn't want us to be intimidated by your family's wealth, fame, and power."
"No, it's because everyone knows who I am..... what I've done." She said softly with sadness in her voice.
"Well obviously not everyone. We have no idea." I said to her supportively.
"Oh you know. Typical rebel that killed her own parents and became a hit man. Running from her fiancee and her brother who killed her younger twin sister while her parents held her down, forcing her to watch, all because she kissed a servant boy of the neighbor's and got caught." She sighed now hanging her head. I didn't notice but before I knew it I had her embraced in a hug while tears dripped down her cheeks. She sat back up with my arm wrapped around her and her head rested on my shoulder. "Up until twelve years ago things were perfect.... no. I can't lie. Not to you guys. Life was hell, but bearable. That was until my father decided to force me into an arranged marriage with a boy named Lucas Grand. He was sweet but I didn't love him. I had a thing for one the neighbor's servants and when he had confessed the year prior we had started dating in secret because if anyone knew we'd both be dead. We were ridiculously young but it still meant everything. One night I had snuck out to see him. I didn't care if I was engaged, I only loved him. We climbed the cherry tree that grew in between the two properties and we ended up kissing, but Lucas found me and took a picture of the kiss as evidence. I pleaded with him not to publicize the image so he didn't. Little did I know though, that he was a possessive lunatic. He showed my family the picture and had them brutally kill my sister, Star, in front of me. I wasn't exactly little miss perfect either. I had, still have, multiple mental and personality disorders. I snapped to the side of insanity, gave way to my emotions, and let my anger control me. I gruesomely murdered my own parents out of blinding rage over my sister's death and forced Lucas as well my brother, Ray, to leave. They were to never to make contact with me again. I ended up becoming head of the family and inheriting everything. Story got out because of Lucas. I started cutting, drinking, smoking, if it would stop the pain I did it. I got into jobs as a hitman after that. The neighboring families all sold off their lands to me so the land was added my estate. Nine years ago I stopped smiling. I just couldn't stay positive anymore. I attempted suicide countless times but could never seem to be able to do even that right. Depression overcame me and I became an emotionless drone who only knew anger or sorrow. Last year I moved to America to attend a boarding school. I only went because the boy became family to his employers (who are one of the families I work with) by marriage, I hadn't found out until that point, and I just couldn't handle possibly seeing him again and showing him what I had become. At some point I got tired of it and came back to start a new life but then my brother announced that my sister was still alive and then Lucas shot him. I'm sorry you guys got dragged into my drama all because I wanted my gun. You shouldn't have to deal with my baggage. He gave it to me though, nine years ago to protect myself. It even still has the engraving, 'To my love. Stay alive so we can meet again by fate.'. He chiseled that into it himself. But I know we're long since over. He probably forgot me and moved on so I should move on too." She told us everything. I wiped a tear from her face as it streamed down her cheek. "I know it's sudden but can you guys stay here tonight?" She said in a frail voice as if she were scared of the air. "It's just..." She began to trail off, getting lost in thought but snapped out of it when I held her a little bit tighter. "This is where it all happened and I don't feel safe knowing Lucas knows where I am now." She cringed at his name, growing smaller with every word she said.
"If you'll have me I wouldn't mind staying and I'm sure it's the same way for the others as well." I smiled at her. She smiled her adorable smile and gave me a huge hug.
"Thanks Kyoya!" she said hugging me even tighter. Everyone pulled out their phone and let their families know they would be sleeping over. I did the same.
"I can stay." Haru said with a sweet smile
"Us too." The twins said in unison with smirks on their faces
"Yay! We get to cheer up Skye senpai!" Tamaki exclaimed
(A/N: The Night family is the most powerful in the world so Skye will be everyone's senpai 😜. Psycho already explained to that senpai is someone older than you but it works better with the story this way so just go with)
"Thanks guys." She yawned and got up. "Follow." She yawned again.
She show us to the guests rooms and lets us choose the one that best suited us personally before she headed off to her room.
