Toby-
My sister had just given birth to her first Baby I walk into the room smiling at my beautiful sister. She looks up at me giving me a smile "Toby" She cries I walk over to her kissing her forehead "Oh Lil she's so beautiful" I say looking at my niece "What's her name?" Lily's husband Elijah asks sitting beside her rubbing her back "Carla Marion Jill" I smile as I realise she's named her after mum "I love it" Elijah says kissing her forehead "Mum would be so proud" Dad says smiling at his daughter "Can I hold her lil?" I ask her she nods gently and very carefully handing my niece to me I take her into my arms my hand's resting on her back.
"Carla , You've came into this world with wonderful and loving parents and a loving family that will do everything to make you happy. As your uncle I promise to always love and protect you" I lean down kissing her little forehead I look over at my sister smiling as she leans into Elijah's chest.
I hand Carla back into my Sister's arms before the door opens with a beautiful woman stepping into the room. Her brown curly hair in a high pony tail, Her beautiful slim body, Her gorgeous face and those eyes that I would never fall out of love with.
"How's everything going in here Okay?" She asks looking at lily and Marion "Yes and thank you so much for your help" The nurse smile's and damn she's got a beautiful smile.
"You're very welcome madam, Congratulations on your successful Birth"
She says before leaving the room, I feel like I should go after her there's this part of me that's telling me to go after her.
"What's her name?" I ask softly stuffing my hands in my pockets Elijah smirks at me "Her name's Spencer Hastings, She's a close friend of ours and also nurse"
I nod pacing around the room "Off you go Toby" Lily says giggling "What?" I ask blushing "Go and ask her out, We both know you want too" I chuckle hurrying out of the room and looking for this beautiful nurse. As I continue to search I finally see her at a desk tipping on the computer I clear my throat
"Excuse me" Her eyes bounce up to mine "Hello Can I help you?" She asks so sweetly it makes my heart melt
"Hi I'm Toby Cavanaugh Lily Cavanaugh's brother"
She stands up walking over to me now standing in front of me "I know I saw you in the room lovely niece you've got there" I chuckle nodding
"Yeah she's a real beauty just like her mother" Spencer nods grabbing her handbag "Well Toby Cavanaugh it was nice to finally meet you but I've gotta get going"
She walks past me and continues to walk down the hall but I catch up to her grabbing her wrist. Her skin was just as soft as I imagined "How about a coffee?" Her beautiful brown eyes widen as she stares at me with surprise
"I don't date my Friends Family"
"I never said about a date, I just wanted to have a coffee"
I tease her chuckling she smiles blushing "Okay, Tomorrow morning"
She sighs biting her bottom lip "8:30?" I ask her smirking she nods
"I'll see you then Mr Cavanaugh" I smirk watching her walk away
"See you then Miss Hastings"

I was extremely excited to be having a coffee with Spencer this morning, I only met her yesterday and I haven't stopped thinking about her.
As I drink my coffee sitting in my chair in my living room my phone starts ringing I quickly answer it.
"Hello"
"Toby Hey It's lily"
"Hey Lily, How's little Bub doing?"
"She's going great, We're going home today"
"I'll be with Spencer this morning and then I'll come by Okay?"
"That's fine, Say hi to Spencer for me"
"I will bye lily"
"Bye"

Spencer walks into the Cafe wearing a Black skirt that sits just above her thighs, A white lace long sleeve shirt with a jacket.
"I was beginning to think you weren't coming" I chuckle she sits down across from me smiling "Like you said this isn't a date why wouldn't I come?" She teases her cheeks flushing "Incase you did want a second date after seeing my handsome face again" She coughs shaking her head "You wish Cavanaugh" I smirk at her she's got a fiery side to her I love that.
We both finally order both having a cappuccino "So Spencer Hastings tell me about yourself?" Her smile fades turning into a sad frown "Not much to tell, Anyway what about you?" She changes the subject quickly
"Not Much Only got my dad and Lily, Mum passed away years ago from a car accident"
"I'm sorry for your loss" She says quietly "Thank you" I say before our coffee's arrive
"What about you? And Your family?"
"I had an older sister She passed away 2 Years ago and my mum and dad I don't really have any contact with them"
I didn't want to ask about why she didn't have any contact with her parents I only did just meet her yesterday.
"What was your sisters name?" I ask her softly she forces a smile "Melissa, She died of a heart attack"
"I'm so sorry I know what it's like" She nods sipping her coffee "What do you do for a living?" She asks in curiously
"I'm a police officer"
"I didn't know that" I shrug smiling at her "Well Spencer Hastings I've gotta head off to work but I would love too catch up again"
Spencer smiles taking out her wallet but I quickly grab her hand shaking my head "No please it's my treat" She smiles putting the money back in her purse "Handsome and Kind, What a charm" I smirk leaning down kissing her cheek
"When will I see you again?" She asks blushing I smile cupping her cheek "How about next Monday I'm working for the rest of the week" She nods pulling out her car keys "Okay I'll see you then Cavanaugh" She smirks "It's a date?" I give her a wink chuckling she nods smiling "It's a date"

"So things went well with Spencer?" Elijah asks sitting down across from me on the other sofa. He'd gone and picked up Lily and Carla and they're both asleep.
"Yes Very well, We're meeting again on Monday I really like her" Elijah smiles
"That's great news I've been wanting Spencer to find someone"
"She's rather quiet though" I add Elijah raises his eyebrow "What do you mean?" He asks
"Well I asked her to tell me about herself and then she said that she didn't have much to tell. And then I asked her again after I explained about myself and she said that she had a sister and she died from a heart attack. And that she didn't have any contact with her parents"
Elijah nods running his hands down his face letting out a deep breath
"Yes that's right Melissa was a lovely woman, Spencer hasn't spoken to her parents in years"
"I wanted to ask her but I didn't want to get all into her privacy considering I've only known her for 2 Days"
Elijah nods understanding where I'm coming from "I'd take care of Spencer Toby she's an amazing person"
I smile thinking about Spencer "Yes I'm beginning to think she is"
