“Wow it is you.” He smiled, rushing over to me and pulling me up into a hug. I heard a grunt as soon as he picked me up, must have been Niall. I was as stiff as a board from shock as he hugged me. He squeezed me extra tight before putting me down gently. He took a step back when he realised I wasn’t saying anything. “Sorry…” He trailed off awkwardly. I got a clear look of him now. He was only wearing a towel. His hair was damp and his cheeks were still pink, obviously he had just gotten out of the shower. He was taller than I remember him too be, nearly completely a head taller than me now.

“You’ve grown.” Was the only thing I managed to mumble out. He exhaled and his lips turned up into a smirk.

“It’s been a few years…” He said sadly, “But you seem to still be as short as I remember you.” He let out a little laugh making me also let out a ‘ha’ and a small smile. My gaze went back to his. He was just as gorgeous as I remember him. He looked down at me with his crystal blue eyes,

“I know that look…” He stepped forwards, closing any space that was left between us.

“What look?” I sighed looking towards the ground at my converse. He reached out and caressed my cheek. I flinched at his touch, before completely relaxing my face back into his hand. He lifted my face up towards his to look at him.

“It’s how you used to look at me every morning.”

Niall’s POV-

What the fuck? I heard Jamie screaming at Justine from inside the apartment so I walked towards the door and stopped in the doorway, just in time to see some guy in a towel walk out of, what I’m guessing was the bathroom. Jamie spun around to look at him and I could no longer see her face.  He rushed towards her and picked her up in a hug. I took a step forwards and scoffed.  This is when Justine turned around to look at me. Her face was pale, she looked like she was about to faint. I looked back at Jamie. The guy had finally placed her down and took a step backwards. That’s what I fucking thought mate. I couldn’t quite hear what they were saying because Jamie was only managing to mumble out a couple of words at a time. She clearly knew this guy from when she lived back here in Adelaide. I heard her laugh and I stepped forwards again, now standing slightly behind Justine. Jamie looked sad. She was looking at the ground and I thought maybe she was even crying. That’s when I noticed how fucking close he was to her now. Their torsos were basically touching. I clenched my hands by my side and gritted my teeth. He reached out and grabbed her face and made her look up at him, with centimetres between their faces. That’s when I cracked.

“Okay! That’s a-fucking-nough with the reunion!” I shouted as I pushed past Justine. Jamie’s neck snapped back around to look at me and she placed two hands on this chest before pushing him away. Her efforts didn’t move him but he got the idea and took a couple small steps backwards.

Jamie was now standing about 2 meters away from me, and 2 meters away from this other guy. She looked over to me and looked like she was trying to speak but no words were forming.

“New boyfriend there Kitten?” Her face dropped and she looked back towards the other guy, which was smirking, cocking his head in my direction.

“Don’t call me that.” I think she finally got the nerve to speak.

“You used to love it.” He took a step towards her and she mimicked his movement but taking one backwards towards me.

“Yea, I used to love a lot of things that I don’t anymore. You being one of them.” She spat back at him and I let out a light chuckle. He through his head back and started laughing.

“Always was a feisty one! Good luck to you, really.” His attention was now faced on me.

“We’re managing fine thanks.” I tried to keep calm but he was making my blood boil.
