"Are you insane?!" Josh cried. "I'm not doing it! If this requires both of us to agree, then I'm out."
He summoned his own crystal sword before getting into a battle stance. "Just think, what exactly could this little bi-- uhh, witch do with our power?"
That caused Katie to pause and think. She didn't know the answer to Josh's question, and ironically, Josh didn't either. But the general answer was clear: absolute chaos on the worlds.
Knowing that giving in was not going to do any good, Katie thought up a plan.
"Come on Josh, if Jemica and Michael are gone, then all our beautiful memories of our time on earth will be gone," Katie pretended to argue and reverted back to normal. "Let's do this for their lives."
Josh was about to protest once more when Katie gave him a quick wink and motioned for him to come over. "Oh fine. I guess I'll be in on this too," he faked and made his sword vanish before stepping next to Katie.
"Very good," Elvira grinned menacingly and clapped her hands twice. The rings around Michael loosened and Jemica began to stir.
Josh then whispered, "I seriously thought you completely lost your marbles there for a sec."
"I did until you opened your mouth," Katie replied. "Now here's the plan."
While Elvira babbled on and on about how she was going to take over the Magic Universe, the twins discussed how they were going to get out of this situation. Once they were done, they waited for Elvira to just... shut up.
"Now get ready! There's going to be a new queen of Crystallia, and that is going to be ME!" she finally said after a long 1 and a half minutes.
"What's Crystallia?" Josh wondered.
"Later! Are ya ready?" she whispered.
"You know I am," he replied with a smirk.
"Alright. In three..."
As she counted, Elvira raised her hand, preparing to cast a power transfer spell.
"Two..." Katie continued and Elvira's hand began to glow with negative energy.
"One..."
"GO GO GO!" Katie shouted. Josh immediately lunged at Elvira and tackled her to the ground. With her concentration broken, the rings suspending Michael in the air vanished, causing him to begin falling from high in the air. Down below, Katie jumped up and transformed in midair to save him.
"Gotcha!" She caught him in her arms and brought him back down and ripped off his mouth gag.
"You... you--"
"Yeah, I finally did it!" Katie twirled around, showing off her transformation outfit. "Epic, right?"
"Katie!" Josh called from the other side of the room as he wrestled Elvira. "I need some backup--AHH!"
She overpowered him and threw him against the wall, knocking him out cold.
"Josh!" Michael and Katie cried simultaneously.
