Annabeth's POV

Right after, a green symbol of a horned helmet appeared above the girl's head. I didn't recognise it, it couldn't of been one of the Greek or Roman Gods. Egyptian maybe? No, the only other option would be Norse. I mean Madison was talking about it earlier at breakfast.

"Noah, I told you she wouldn't be Athena!" Triston scoffed at his friend, it seemed the two had made a bet to see who would claimed by who. "Shut up, I'll give you the five dollars later okay?"

I looked over at Percy to see if he knew who had claimed the girl, but he shrugged his shoulders meaning that he too didn't know. "Do you idiots really not know what that stands for?" Xander said to Percy and I. Before I could respond he gave the answer to his question, "It's the insignia of Loki. You know, the Norse god of mischief, evil, and illusions. The adopted brother of Thor. Always wants to have Asguard for himself. Haven't you seen any of the Marvel movies?" Mac started giggling to herself, "Ha! That's ironic. Madi's usually the goody two shoes. She never gets in trouble, literally."

Once things calmed down, it was already time for Capture the Flag. I separated the six new campers into groups of three, Mac, Alicyn, Xander, and Percy on Blue Team and Noah, Madison, and Triston with me on Red Team. Each team went their separate ways to gear up and make a game plan.

The four of us got on the required Celestial Bronze armour and started to conjure up a strategy. "The enemy will probably be very aggressive with Xander and them." Noah warned. Madison popped her fingers, "We could just sneak behind them while the rest of our team distracts them." "But they're gonna have a few people protecting the flag," I reminded. "Just use the Yankees cap and maybe Madi could use magic to make the rest of us invisible." Triston chipped in. "I only just learned I had magic thirty minutes ago!" The girl argued. Noah countered, "So? Might as well try!"

Ten minutes later the game starts and we sneakily make our way over to the enemy's flag. "Ow, you stepped on my toe. Baka." Madison said quietly through her, invisible, gritted teeth. She had successfully pulled off the magic after a few tries before the game started, one of them accidentally shrunk another team member to the size of a mouse for a few minutes. "I'll stop if you stop calling me an idiot in Japanese." Noah quietly threatened. "Gochisosama." The boy's rage started flaring, "Will you please talk in English for once?" "Will you two shut up for once?" Triston ended the argument. It was fun watching the kids bicker back and forth.

We reached the enemy flag undetected, only to find the others guarding it. 'Great, just to our luck,' I thought to myself. Right before I was about to coordinate an attack a loud thud was sent through the whole battlefield. Right before their eyes, a man in a suit of red and gold armour had crash landed onto the ground next the flag. A high pitched "Eep!" was heard from everyone, even the boys. The loss of concentration destroyed our camouflage and chances of a covert operation. "Wait, is that Iron Man?!?" Alicyn yelled.
