Percy's POV

Annabeth had asked me to help her carry a few training dummies over to the weapons shed for some recently arrived campers Mackenzie brought. "So how many do we need?" I asked her, we were standing in the big storage warehouse. "Five. I'll carry two and you get three." Annabeth walked over to the dummies and dragged two of them by the handle on their back. Five demigods in one place? She must've hit the jackpot. I picked up a dummy and rested it on my shoulder while dragging the other two.

"Any idea on what cabin they might be in?" I asked. "Not sure, two of them seem to hot headed and the last three have a subtle mysterious feeling about them. It's hard to explain." Annabeth looked like she was still trying to figure it out herself.

When we arrived Mac and three others were sitting around the shed talking, while the other two had found a crate of foam weapons, one with two kunais and the other with three katanas. The one with the kunais had his shirt pulled up over his nose with his left eye closed and the one with the katanas was holding two of them in her hands with the other in her mouth. They would take turns attacking and yells attack names like 'Chidori!' or 'Oni Giri!'.

"Hey! Everyone!" Annabeth snapped trying to get everyone's attention. They all looked up and dropped what they were doing. We had placed the training dummies over to the side as we walked over to the shed. "Ok Mac give a roll call so we don't have to use the word 'you' for everyone." Annabeth ordered. "Sure. First there's Alicyn, we call her 'Ali' for short." Mac pointed to Alicyn on the far right.
"Hi." Ali said as she waved.
"Next there's Xander."
"Hey." He placed his hands in his jean's pockets.
"Triston."
"Yo!" Triston greeted, I could feel him staring at me like I was his role model or something.
"Finally there's Noah and Madison, we also call her 'Madi' like Ali."
Noah, the boy from earlier, waved and looked over to his friend on the right. Madison, the girl from earlier, had pulled out a paperback book labelled 'One Piece: Volume 46' and not paying attention to the conversation. "Oi! Madi, put the manga up!" Noah shook her by the shoulders, trying to get her attention. "What?" She replied looking up from her book and looking around trying to see what was going on. Her cheeks flushed with red when she realised what was going on. Madison opened her mouth to speak, but closed it before a word came out. She quietly packed her book back in her bag, ready to continue.

I pulled open the old shed door that was unusually stiff. "Who wants to go first?" I asked, pretending it was like a mini game at a fair. The three guys raised their hands, "Sword please," and said in unison. Annabeth helped me pull a box of sheathed swords out for them to look through. "We have daggers, bows, axes, spears, staffs, and really everything else." Annabeth said, giving more options to them. "I'll take a dagger." Alicyn said. "Me too!" Added Madison.

I turned towards the boys over at the box of swords. The two named Xander and Noah were having an argument over a sword. "Let me have it! I grabbed it first." Yelled Noah. A dark scowl came across Xander's face. Triston looked up from the box, his eyes full of fear, "Code: Red!" Everyone else except Annabeth and I looked to see what was going on, all of them with fear in their eyes. "I-it's ok Xander. No need to get angry." A droplet of sweat went down Noah's forehead. There was a short pause before Xander finally spoke, "Why do you always get everything! There's no balance to it! Why don't you ever let me have something for once?!?" Xander's rage unleashed, a red symbol of a balancing scale appeared above his head, claiming him as a child of Nemesis. "I always expected Ares to be honest." Noah commented. Xander swung his fist at Noah trying hit him in the face. Noah quickly placed his arms in front of his face preparing for the punch. I ran towards the two, trying to break up the fight, but before Noah got hit something...happened. A big thud sounded, a green forcefield was surrounding Noah.

Everyone was confused at what had just happened, not sure who had casted the spell. I looked around and saw Madison's face red as a tomato. She was standing the doorway of the weapons shed, one hand holding a modest imperial gold dagger and the other outstretched towards the boys. When she notice everyone staring at her, Madison lowered her hand, releasing the spell. "Did you-?" Noah stammered, he was at a loss of words from the event that just occurred. "I- I don't know! It just happened." Madison was not very comfortable with the spotlight on her. She too was confused.
