"Besides," I mutter "It's Rookie, what's the worst that could happen?"
Gerard's POV:

"Have you ever been to a party before?"

"What?" Rookie gives me a confused look.

"I said, have you ever been to a party before?"

"Um, no?" She giggles.

"Are you kidding me?! A rad chick like you?" I nudge her shoulder, making her smile "I thought you'd gone to many parties."

"Gee, you know Frankie wouldn't ever let me go to a party."

"Well," I stand up, taking Rookie with me "Frankie, isn't here right now is he?"

"Gerard." She sighs in exhaustion.

"Come on!" I drag her over to the bike.

"What are we doing?" She asks as she sits behind me.

"Going to a party, sweetheart." I start up the engine.

"Ge- ugh, only because you're too adorable to argue with." She puts her arms around my waist.

I feel my face heat up and I just kinda sit there for a couple seconds.

"Gerard!" She pushes my shoulder playfully "Aren't we going to a party?"

"Hm? Oh uh, yeah. Right." I start to drive off.
••••••••••••••••

A couple minutes into the drive, we see a very formal restaurant-ish/ lounge thing crowded with lots of people, I happen to see a flash of white and a lot of people in tuxes.

Must be a wedding reception.

Tired of driving, I silently park the motorcycle.

"Gerard?" Rookie asks "No offense, but um, I think you're supposed to propose to me before we have a wedding, let alone the reception." She jokes.

"Oh shut up." I laugh "It's not for us, silly." I ruffle her hair "We haven't found any parties for about an hour so this is the next best thing."

"But a wedding reception? Really Gee? I don't want to ruin some ones special day-"

"A BLI member got married." I cut her off looking through the first window.

"Pssh, never mind." She hops out off the bike.

"And we all know it's not a party without music." I pull out a small radio from a side compartment of the bike.

"Let's go." I lead her over by the door.

When everyone's in the building we walk silently up the steps.

"M'lady." I joke, taking her and and motioning towards the door.

"Why thank you, kind sir." She bows and we try to stifle our laughs as best we can when walking into the room.

Right as everyone's seated and talking, I sigh, listening to the boring sounding quartet of instruments.

"Ugh, why can't they play good music?"

Suddenly, a couple in front of us turns around "What did you say?" One of them sneers.

"I said, 'why can't they play good music?', honestly though this violin is gonna put me to sleep."

The man looks appalled at my answer "My brother happens to be the one playing the violin."
