It's been a few days and I haven't heard anything from Ayden. He leaves for Australia tomorrow and I'm scared that we won't make up by then. I want to forgive Ayden.
I ring Sammy to see if she wants to hang out with me. I've talked to her at school, but not outside of it yet.
"Hello?" Sammy answers.
"Hey, it's Molly." I simply tell her.
"Oh hey, Molly." She sounds happy.
"Hey, so I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come over for a little and hang out?" I ask her.
"Sure!" she exclaims.
"Alright, I'll text you my address." I say.
"Okay, bye." She says and I hang up the phone. I wonder if she knows about Ayden and me. She watches my videos, so she must have. I quickly text Sammy my address and throw my phone on the bed.
Where's Carter? I haven't seen him for like a day. I know Veca's not here right now because she works from six in the morning until seven at night. It's only five right now.
I hear a knock on the front door. I walk over to see that it's Sammy.
"Hey." She chirps and walks inside.
"Hey." I say back.
"Wow, you have a nice house." She tells me.
"It's my aunt's, but thanks." I smile.
"How are you and Ayden?" Sammy asks me as we get to my room. Of course that would be the first question that comes out of her mouth. I hope she's not just hanging around me because I'm dating Ayden.
"I have no idea right now. He hasn't talked to me in three days." I tell her as I sit on my bed.
"Have you tried talking to him?" she asks.
"No, but only because I don't know if he wants to." I hesitate. I actually haven't tried talking to him. Maybe if I rang him or texted him, he'd answer and we could talk about this.
"You should try. You never know how he'll respond." Sammy says.
"I will. So are you a fan of State of Fire?" I ask her.
"Not really, I mean they're cute but I don't love their music." A wave of relief flows over me. I'm glad she's not using me to get to them.
"Yeah I get it. Honestly, when I first met Ayden, I absolutely hated him." I laugh.
"Really?" she laughs with me and I nod. "Wow, who would have thought?" she says.
"Right?" I pause. "It's nice finally having a friend that's a girl here. My only friends are guys." I tell her.
"Well that's cool. But it's always good to have girl friend to talk to about certain stuff." Sammy says.
"Yeah it is. So do you have a boyfriend?" I ask her.
"Yeah, his name is Blake." She tells me.
"Oh, that's cool. How long have you guys been together?" I ask. I'm happy she has a boyfriend. She looks like the type of girl that has a boyfriend.
"Almost two years." She smiles. Her smile made me smile.
"That's so cute." I say to her.
"We should totally double date sometime." She says as if it's the best idea in the world. I'm not sure that's a great idea.
"I don't know about that. I'd love to, but Ayden I'm not so sure about." I give her a look of sympathy.
"Well maybe some time." She says.
