"That's it," Ford said to the darkness after a long silence. "That's my story. You asked how I came to this place, and that's just how. That's why I want to know more about Bill Cipher-- so I can bring him down."

The figure shrouded in darkness was silent for a long while. Finally, they nodded their head, the cowl of their cloak falling over their face.

"I've been watching you for a long time, Stanford Pines, but for reasons unknown, I have not been able to divine where you came from before appearing in the multiverse. Your tale answers several questions. Now that we have the facts, we can answer your own questions."

Ford leaned forward. "So, tell me. What do you actually know about Bill Cipher?"

"It is a story of death and destruction," warned the figure. "One of desperation, struggle, and ultimately failure. But it is one that must be recognized nonetheless. We must now move away, away from this place, away from your town of Gravity Falls, far from most things, in a place known as Flatworld."
