Chapter 25: Aftermath

It had been 10 years since Natsu and Lucy had been back to Fairy Tail. But in that time, they got married and had a little girl named Nashi Dragneel. She was the princess of the Second Dragneel kingdom and had pink hair and brown eyes. And like every other child, they have a special day where they can get whatever they want. And this was that day...

Natsu walked out of his room with Lucy and silently walked to Nashi's room. He slowly opened the door and went to her bed. She was sound asleep and Natsu grinned as he grabbed her shoulders and shouted as loud as he could. Nashi sat bolt upright and looked around until she saw Natsu. She smiled wide and hugged Natsu, 

"Happy Birthday Nashi. You're growing up too fast!" Natsu pulled away from the hug and made a pouting face at Nashi. She smiled and put up six fingers in Natsu's face, 

"Yep! I'm six now!" Natsu smiled and grabbed her hands, 

"When mommy wakes up I want to show you something amazing." Nashi's whole face brightened up and she grinned. She jumped out of bed and ran to where Lucy and Natsu slept, she jumped on the bed and screamed as loud as she could, 

"Mommy, mommy! Wake up! It's my birthday, you need to wake up because daddy wants to take me somewhere special!" Lucy groaned and opened her eyes slightly, 

"Give me a few minutes to get ready honey." Nashi smiled and ran out of the room, Natsu smiled and sat down on the bed as Lucy sat up, 

"Let's take her to Fairy Tail. We haven't been there in 10 years. They're probably worried." Lucy smiled and nodded her head, 

"Yeah. Let's do it. But like I said, I need a minute to get ready so get out so I can get dressed!" Natsu smiled and kissed Lucy on the forehead, 

"Ok, see you in a minute." Natsu smiled to himself and walked out of the room. Lucy blushed and got out of the bed. She walked to her dresser and put on her short blue skirt and white shirt, 

"Just like when I joined Fairy Tail." Lucy smiled to herself and walked out of the room. She walked down the palace steps to find Natsu and Nashi standing by the door waiting for her, 

"Sorry I kept you guys waiting." Lucy looked to Nashi, "Are you ready to go honey?" Nashi nodded and the three went outside, on their way to Fairy Tail. Lucy held Nashi's hand and walked down the road with Natsu at her side. They walked for a few minutes and when they got close to the guild, Natsu stopped and went down to Nashi's level, 

"I'm going to warn you...where we are going, it's very crazy and you make sure to tell me when you want to leave. Ok?" Nashi nodded and Natsu smiled, "Good. Then welcome to FAIRY TAIL!" Natsu walked forward a little bit more and the large form of the Fairy Tail guild showed up. Nashi's face brightened as soon as she saw the building. She smiled and ran forward and went in front of the door. Some of the mages looked at Nashi and some sighed and laughed, 

"Wow...I miss Natsu and Lucy so much I'm seeing a little girl that looks like the both of them..." He laughed again and looked at Nashi. She smiled and looked over to where Natsu and Lucy were, 

"What are you talking about man?" Natsu came around the corner with Lucy right on his heels. The man talking looked at Natsu and Lucy in disbelief. Suddenly, cheers erupted throughout the guild, 

"Natsu and Lucy have returned!" Natsu grinned and Nashi grabbed his hand. Natsu looked down, 

"Daddy, can you pick me up please?" Natsu nodded and smiled, 

"Sure thing Nashi. Are you sure it's not too loud for you?" Nashi shook her head as Natsu picked her up on his shoulders. Some of the people in the guild looked at Natsu with confused faces,
