Part 19: Brother?

Miku's POV

So here I am, in the classroom filled with noisy students, crumbled papers and when the students are noisy that only means one thing...no teacher, of course

And right know I'm filled with mixed emotions, I feel happy but my mind says I'm sad, I feel excited and ashamed for some unidentified reason. Why am I nervous? It's not that I'm gonna perform something! But why am I nervous?

Then Sensei suddenly came in holding papers and said "Students...Since the division officers called us for a meeting...we have-"

"NO CLASS!!!" A boy from the back shouted that made us startle and stare at him but in the end, thousands of cheers came flooding to my ear

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked back and saw Rin "Oi Miku-chan, Is your schedule full this afternoon?" She asked

"Hm...Since this no class thingy is a sudden so...No! I have no plans. Why are you asking anyway?"

"Great! Do you remember our project in Science? That is what we are gonna make!"

"Oh... That one...I hope those two dweebs will stop on laughing" I said and glared at Len and Oliver, and they didn't even noticed me glaring at them because of their nonsense conversation "Wait! Why won't we do it on the dorms?" I added

"Well, most of it's materials are in my house and plus, there are so many fun stuff to do!" She grinned "Oh! I forgot, We must buy this following materials"

"I thought you have them" I groaned

"I said most of it's materials gurl!! Most!!" She said and emphasized most. Then we called those two dweebs and walked our way to the mall, it was kinda tricky since the shortcut is through a small alley

"So...what are we gonna buy?" Oliver asked

"Since there are many on the list... let's divide it!" Rin said

Then we divide ourselves fairly, by playing a stupid mere game. Because of our stupidity, my partner was Len and Rin's partner is Oliver. Urgh....Life? What to do now?

"Len and Miku, You will buy the Popsicle Sticks, Super glue, and the brushes while me and Oliver will find some small tree thingy, grass powder, and some small furniture. After you bought all of them, let's meet at the food court for lunch" We all nodded and went to our respective stores

I went inside and brought a plastic basket with me, After several minutes we have collected the brushes and the super glue, so...the only thing left are the popsicle sticks

I wandered around the aisles but couldn't find it, that's when I realized that it was displayed in the upper portion of the shelf and that's where the problem runs in, I can't reach it! I tried to stand with my toes but it won't do it

"A...few...more... centimeters!" I said as I was standing with my toes even though it won't work "This is totally hopeless!" I sighed

Then a hand reached the popsicle sticks and handed it to me "Here you go" Len said handing the sticks to me

"I can't believe that you grew taller than me" I growled

"Wait! Was that a Compliment or an Insult...I take it as a Compliment" He said and grinned. Then suddenly I saw a tint of teal hair a while ago. It was so fast that I can't see it's face...Weird, stupid, Layf!! (Life •̀.̫•́✧ ehehehe!)

"Since we collected them all, I think it's time to go to our meeting place" I said as I took a quick glance at my watch

Then we went to the food court. I sat down and tapped my foot at the floor, and taking quick glances at my watch impatiently...Who was that? Is this a déjà vu? Hm...maybe not!
