chapter 2- please dont forget

"Hey, Josh, have you heard of that new movie, Suicide Squad? I hear it's great."
"Oh yeah, we should go see it, i-if you want. It's up to you... my treat." Josh said to Macey, slightly regretting the aggression in his tone. Josh didn't want Macey to think he was too forward, he wasn't usually like this. She just made him feel... different. He felt at home with her.

"Hell yeah! Let's go!"

During the movie they didn't really talk because it was so good, but after the movie they talked about everything, from their high school experience to what they did last week. The one thing josh neglected to address was the fact that he was in a band, the exact band that played the song 'Heathens' in Suicide Squad. He didn't say anything because he really liked her and didn't want to ruin their blooming relationship by putting himself on a pedestal. As most band member-fan relationships seem to work out.

"So that's enough about me. What do you like to do... you seem like you're in to music," she giggled.

"What?" Josh asked confused, then he realized he'd been drumming on his coffee table subconsciously while listening to her talk. He was getting lost in her words. She sounded like an angel. "Oh," he chuckled, "Um, yeah, I'm in a band actually. So I guess I am into music.."

"Really?" Macey blurted in excitement. She loved guys in bands, especially ones as cute as Josh. She could only hope and dream that he was the drummer, that would make sense cause drummers are always very attractive and so is Josh. "Oh," she blushed, "What band?" she asked, realizing she'd been blankly staring at him for a while.

" It's.. uh.. called twenty øne piløts."
