Laura's POV

I enter my old bedroom, and the nostalgia hits me. Everything is still here, my desk, my bookshelves, everything. I sit down on the bed, sighing happily. The walls are painted a plain white, because this bedroom is now a guest room, but I can still remember all the memories I had as a teenager. It seems so long ago.

Jack peeks his head around the door, and I give him a small smile. "Feels weird, doesn't it?" He asks, and I nod, looking around the room another time. "Yeah, but I like it. It's nice to be back home" Jack sits down beside me, and the bed creaks, filling the empty silence.

"Can I ask you a question? You don't have to answer it if you don't want to" Jack asks and I nod slowly, confused. "Okay, what's wrong?" I hate when people ask questions like this, because you don't know what's going to hit you. "What did it feel like to grow up without a Mother? 'Cause you were adopted by two dads and all" His ocean blue eyes look directly into mine, and I shrug my shoulders.

"Well, ever since my other parents died, I lived without a mother for a long time" I try not to let the moments before the crash come back, the screaming, the pain, never again. Jack nods patiently, and I sigh. "When I was adopted by you two I never even thought about not having a mother, I was just happy to be adopted and have a family" Jack's eyes light up, as he remembers those precious moments. "I guess after it all died down, I did ask the question, what will people think when I tell them I have two dads and not a mom?"

Jack looks at the ground, and I quickly continue "But I loved you a lot, so I didn't care what people would say" I reassure him and he smiles again. "People didn't say much at school, some people thought it was strange but never really went on about it, they just kind of accepted it and moved on. I'm grateful for that" I hug Jack and he squeezes me tightly. "I'm grateful for that too" He whispers in my ear and I feel happier inside.

"Anyways, I have had a mom all this time anyways" Jack looks at me, confused at what I just said. "Come on Jack, you know you're the mom of the family" I joke and he pushes me off the bed, laughing. "Shut up you" I laugh, giving him another hug. It's just like the old times, and I love it.

Later on that day we decide to record a few videos. On my channel we are going to do 'Who knows me better?'. I set up the camera, making sure it's in focus and everyone will be in shot. I turn on the microphone and sit down in the middle of Jack and Mark. "You two ready?" I ask and they both nod. "You're going down, Jack" Mark says jokingly, trying to look scary and angry. Jack just laughs "You wish" He says and we finally start the video.

"Hey guys! Today I'm here with Mark and Jack!" They both wave to the camera. "Today we are going to do the 'Who knows me better?' tag. Both of them have whiteboards and a marker. I'm going to ask them questions and who ever gets it right wins. Whoever gets in wrong will have to pick a piece of paper from this jar and do what it says on the paper" I shake the jar, full of pieces of paper. Fans sent in dares from Twitter, and lets just say they were very inventive.

*small time skip*

"Okay Jack! You got it wrong so you have to do whatever it says on the paper!" I say and Jack sighs, randomly pulling out a piece of paper. "How was I supposed to know that Ms Johnson was the teacher you hated the most?" He mumbled and I laugh. "I complained about her all the time, Mark remembers! Now, tell us what's on that slip of paper!" Jack unfolds the slip of paper, and blushes a deep red. "What's written on it?" Mark asks, inpatient.

"Kiss Mark for 20 seconds straight while the song 'Sex' is playing" He says and Mark laughs. "That's easy! Why are you so embarrassed?" Jack shrugs his shoulders "It's awkward, I would be able to do it off camera" I look at them both, and Jack looks very uncomfortable. "You don't have to do it, I'll just edit-" "No, I'll do it. I'm not a wimp" Jack says, interrupting me. I shrug my shoulders "If you say so"
