Chapter 1: Dont fear the monster behind the door

"Tyler! Please open the door!" Tyler groaned loudly, but made no effort to actually obey the order. "Tyler, come on! Just open the door!" The voice came again. "Someone's here to see you!" The door opened, and the rush of light coming into the room blinded him. He screamed out of fear and looked around, the Glowing eyes were leaving. "CLOSE THE DOOR!! GET OUT!!" He covered his eyes with his hands and grabbed his blindfold, putting it on. Immediately, the eyes came back. He sighed in relief. "What do you want??" He looked in the direction of the door. "Someone is here to see you." The voice came again. Tyler jumped up and ran towards the door, a smile spreading on his face. "Really?? Is it Zach?? Oh, please tell me it's Zach!! Its Zach, right, Brendon??" He asked the voice. The voice, Brendon, sighed. Tyler wouldn't give him time to speak. Tyler searched for the other person, then grabbed their hand. "That's you, right Zach??" The other person frowned, he felt bad. Tyler put a hand on his face, and his smile faded. "You're not Zach.." He backed away. "Where's Zach? He said he'd come see me!" Tears began sliding down his face from behind the blindfold that kept him in the dark. "Tyler, I'm sorry, Zach isn't here. The person who came to see you is Josh." Brendon shook his head and looked at Josh, who actually looked a bit scared of Tyler, despite the fact that he was around the same age as him, and much skinnier. Josh looked back at Brendon, then to Tyler again. Tyler tilted his head. "Who's Josh? I'm sorry, I dont know a Josh!" He shook his head violently. "Brendon, what's going on?" He stopped shaking his head and reached out for Brendon. Brendon rolled his eyes and grabbed his arm so he knew it was him. "He's your new room mate." Tyler threw Brendon's hand out and began freaking out. "NO, NO NONONONO!! I CANT HAVE A ROOM MATE!! THE GLOWING EYES WILL LEAVE!! THEY WONT LET ME!! FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!" Tyler screamed and ran back into his room, slamming the door. Josh jumped and looked at Brendon. "I'm sorry he's like this. But I'm sure he won't hurt you." Brendon sighed. Josh nodded his head slowly. "Can I go in there..or?" Josh asked Brendon. "Yeah, yeah of course. It's your room too now, so you can go in there whenever you want." Brendon gave Josh a hopeful smile. Josh nodded again and hesitantly opened the door. Tyler screamed at him to shut it, so Josh went all the way inside and shut it behind him after looking at Brendon. "Why are you still here?!" Tyler looked at Josh, who was merely a shadow in the dark, and yelled. "I can't leave..I'm not allowed to." Josh frowned at Tyler. He was on the floor, curled up in a ball and sobbing. Josh took slow steps towards him. "What's wrong?" He put his hand on Tyler's back. "DONT TOUCH ME! THE GLOWING EYES DONT WANT YOU TO TOUCH ME!!" Tyler jumped and shoved Josh away from him. Josh stood up and walked away from Tyler, to the other side of the room. He sat down on one of the beds and hugged his knees. After a few minutes of silence, Josh spoke. "I'm sorry.." There was no response. After another half hour of silence, Josh heard Tyler talking to someone. "I'm sorry, he won't leave. Yes, yes I'm trying..he just..okay..okay.." Tyler stood up and walked to Josh's bed. "The Glowing Eyes don't like you." Tyler huffed. Josh shook his head. "They dont even know me. Let them know me." Josh reached his hand out, hoping Tyler wouldn't yell at him again. "I'm Josh." He introduced himself. Tyler looked around, the Glowing eyes were watching him, but not speaking or objecting. He hesitantly took Josh's hand. "I'm..I'm Tyler.." He looked at Josh. Josh smiled, he felt accomplished.
