Chapter 4

"Come on, let's go to your new room." The man that brought us here said standing in my doorway. I really need to learn his name.
"Hey what's your name?" I ask.
"James."
I didn't reply, just nodded my head. At least now I know his name so I can stop calling him "that one man that brought us here."

This morning, James came by my room after I showered and told me to pack my stuff because I'm moving to another room. Apparently they needed mine, and now I'll have roommates to talk too. After a few minutes of walking we arrive at my new room.
"Here's your new roommate." James says as he opens the door. As I walk in with what little items I had, there was 2 boys and 1 other girl already in the room.
"Finally! Another girl for me to talk too." The girl exclaimed. She had raven black hair, with bright blue eyes, and porcelain pale skin; honestly, she was beautiful. One of the boys had light brown hair, brown eyes, and slightly tan skin with freckles; he looks a couple years younger than me because he has a baby face. The other boy had bleach blonde hair, forest green eyes, and very tan skin; he didn't take his eyes off me since he seen me. The tan boy was tall and had an athletic build, he kind of reminds me of Minho. I'll call him Minho 2.0. The other boy and the girl were really skinny, they look like a guest of wind would knock them over. You could say Minho 2.0 stood out the most. "I'm sure you all know your way to the cafeteria by now, so I won't be back to get you. You leave at 9 to go eat breakfast, then lunch is at 12, and dinner is at 5:30. Don't forget it and don't be late." James said then closed the door as he left.

"Well isn't he just a ray of sunshine." I said with some attitude, like usual.
"Yeah he's always like that. So you can have the top bunk here right above me." The girl told me.
"Okay." I spoke quietly, throwing my stuff on the bed, it's about time to go to breakfast so I didn't bother sitting down.
"So my name is Teresa." The girl said.
"I'm Aris." The brown eyed boy said.
"I'm Daniel. What's your name?" Minho 2.0 asked me.
"It's (y/n)." I reply more louder this time.
"That's a very pretty name, (y/n)." Daniel said to me as he smirked. I don't know what it is about him, but the way my name rolls off his tongue got me feeling some type of way. I don't think I like him, I mean I just met him and I'm obviously dating Newt. Before you even think I would cheat on him, slap that thought out of your head, I don't roll that way. But Daniel gave me butterflies when he looked at me... I don't understand it. I do know, however, that he doesn't make me feel the same way Newt does; it's different somehow.

"Time to go." Aris said, he really doesn't talk much does he?
"Do you wanna sit with us?" Teresa asked.
"I have to try and find my friends, sorry." I reply. I feel kinda bad, but I'm gonna be living with them so we'll be seeing each other a lot anyway.
"Ah c'mom, you can sit next to me." Daniel said trying to persuade me.
"No, I really need to find them." I say. By now we are walking out the door. Not much more is said on the walk to the cafeteria, but after we got our food something I wasn't expecting happened. I turn around and bump into someone causing me to trip, but before I could fall Daniel grabbed my waist and pulled me into him.

"Careful sweetheart." He said while chuckling. At first I didn't even respond because I couldn't stop thinking about him calling me sweetheart. I finally come back down to earth and say, "Yeah, thanks for saving me I guess."
"No problem, if you need us for any reason we will be sitting in the corner over there." He said while pointing to a table in the corner of the cafeteria. While I was looking I spotted Newt a few tables over.

I got really excited when I seen him, I didn't even look at Daniel again. Just nodded my head and waved him off as I quickly walked to the table where all the gladers were sitting. As I approach the table, Chuck is the first one to spot me and doesn't hesitate to run up to me and give me a hug. "I'm so glad to see you!" He exclaimed. I laugh at his childishness. "Missed you too Chucky." Then Minho gave me a hug, of course. "Good to see ya shortcake."
"I'm not that short!"
Next thing I know Thomas is tackling me in a hug. "Woah bro, didn't know you loved me so much."
"Shut up."
Laughing I make my way to Newt, who's just staring at me. "Everyone else has hugged me, now it's your turn." I smile at him. He finally grins at me and doesn't bother giving me a hug. Instead he just pulled me into the seat next to him and gives me a long overdue kiss. For the short amount of time I feel like I'm on cloud nine, and I don't want this feeling to end.

When we stop I feel eyes on me so I glance around the room and lock eyes with Daniel. He has an unreadable expression which leaves me with a confused one. Then some I guy I don't know starts talking to him and he smiles again.

"So who was your knight in shining armor over there?" Newt asked.
"What are you talking about?" I ask confused again.
"When you just about fell earlier and that guy grabbed you to keep you from falling, do you know him?"
"Yeah, it's one of my new roommates. His name is Daniel."
He just nods his head.
"Awh Newtie are you jealous?" I ask slightly amused.
"Pfft no." He denies not making eye contact with me.
"Mmhhmm sure you're not."

We start eating and the boys ask me about everything that has happened since we've been separated. I told them about my new roommates and pointed them out to them. "So far they've all been really nice." I comment.
"Yeahhhh, some a little TOO nice if ya ask me." Newt states exaggerating some of his words. You can tell he's jealous, even though I'm not sure of what.

A/N: Not sure if this chapter made a lot of sense, I really really hope it did. I just feel like it might have gotten a little confusing at some points. So if you have any questions feel free to ask me!

2.) This is just so I can get to know you guys a little better. How old are guys?? I wrote my first book "The Maze" when I was 15, I started this one when I 15 and turned 16 shortly after, now I'm 18 and writing again!
