Young Justice: Wonder and Super

Infiltrator

Audrey's POV
I'm sitting on my bed in my room thinking about a few days back. I kissed Robin. Even though it was on the cheek, it was still a kiss. Girls do it all the time right? Yeah they do! So it's not... Weird? I heard a knock on my door and my dad came in. I smiled, (We fixed our little argument a few days ago so everything is good.) "Whats up?" I ask. Dad smiles and sits on my bed. "Oh nothing, just noticed you were a little giddy these past few days. Something to do with a certain Boy Wonder?" Dad asks smirking. My face flares up. "No. No, I uh mmmm hehe...... I like cheese." I rambled changing the subject in the end. Dad laughs and shakes his head. "Yes you do like cheese. But Batman showed me the security. You made Batman smirk!" Dad said grinning. "Uh I well. That's good?" I ask. "I guess. I also came in to tell you that you need to go to the mountain. Your team wanted to go to the beach before tonight." Dad said. I smile and nod knowing what was happening tonight. We were getting a new teammate!! Dad wouldn't say anything, so I have no idea who it's gonna be! "Ok. Now leave." I say smiling. Dad smiles and gets out. I change into my civilian clothes and pack my bag with my swimsuit in it. Also I pack my super hero costume too. I'm ready to go! 

Mount Justice:
We waled out onto the beach. the wind was perfect, the water was great. "Hello Megan! we should hit the beach everyday!" Mgann said. Robin bowed his head. "First a moment in silence for our absent comrade." Robin said. "Poor Wally." I said sadly. He was starting school today. 

       I stood in the water in my swimming suit feeling the waves crash against my legs. All was calm until I felt water being dumped over my head. I gasp at the cold and turn around to see Robin holding a bucket and laughing. "Robin!!" I yell. He smiles and starts to run. I catch up to him and trip him. Face first in water! He sits up and laughs. I start laughing too. I extend my hand and help him up. "Gotcha back!" I say. Robin and I suddenly had water crash down on us. We turn around and glare. "Kaldur!!" We both yell in unison. Kaldur only smirks in reply. For lunch we grilled hotdogs, and they were delicious! After that, we played in the water we decided to play beach volleyball. Robin, Aqualad, and I vs Superboy and M'Gann. We were totally dominating. Until Superboy lost the ball. Oh well. 

We now were building a mountain of sand over Superboy. Robin and I built a sandcastle. I handed him a little flag and he stuck in on the topmost tower. We high fived and glanced at the others. We laughed at how chill Superboy looked. 

When it got a little dark we changed into our superhero costume and went to the main hangar. We waited until most of the Justice League arrived. I noticed Green Arrow was absent. As was Wally. "Recognized, Green Arrow 0-8, Artemis B-08." I whip my head to the zeta tubes and Green Arrow walks out with a girl behind him. She was wearing a green halter top looking shirt with a arrow insignia on it. She had green pants and boots. Her bow and quiver were green too, and she had long blonde hair in a ponytail. She had a cowl type thing on her head too. She looked pretty cool. "Um everyone, this is Artemis, our new teammate." Green Arrow said. She waved, "Hey." She said smiling. Mgann and I immediately ran up to her. "Hi! I'm Supergirl! It's so nice to have another girl on the team!" I say. "Yeah! Your gonna have so much fun with us!" M'Gann said. "Thanks! I've been looking forward to this for a long time!" She said. The rest of the team and league walked over too. "Recognized, Kid Flash B-03." We heard Wally's voice, "The Wall-man is here!"  Wally ran in and tripped immediately. What he was carrying spilled everywhere. A beach ball, umbrella, cooler, and a towel. To make things even better, sorry worse, he was in his swim trunks, sunglasses, and sunscreen on his nose. "Wall-man huh? I love the uniform. What exacty are your powers?" Artemis said. I stifled a laugh. Girl, you and I are gonna get along great! Wally stood up. "Uh, who's this?" Waly said. "Artemis. Your new teammate." She said. "Kid Flash, never heard of you." Wally 'introduced' himself. "She's my new protégé." Green Arrow said. "What happens to your old one?" Wally asked. At that moment the computer announced Speedy's arrival. "We'll for starters he doesn't go by speedy anymore. Call me Red Arrow." Spe-Red Arrow said. Why is he here!? I thought angrily. I try and talk and he avoid me. He was like an older brother, but now... Ugh! I'm kind of mad at him right now. Robin and I shared a look of confusion. Roy had changed his costume. It was now red black and gray. "Roy? You look-" Green Arrow began, "Replaceable." Roy said angrily. "It's not like that. You told me you were going solo." Green Arrow said. "So why waste time finding a sub? Can she even use that bow?" Red Arrow said. Artemis glared, "Yes. She can." "Who are you?" Wally asked. He looked pretty ticked off. "I'm his niece." "She's my niece." Artemis and Green Arrow said at the same time. What? "Another niece?" Robin said smirking. "But she is not your replacement. We have always wanted you on the team. And we have no quota on archers." I cut in, "Aqualad, we have Artemis now! We don't need Red Arrow." I said his name with venom. Roy, Wally, Kaldur, and Dick looked surprised at what I said. It was the five of us, now Roy wanted to be all solo like. Wally spoke up. "If we did, you know who we'd pick." Wally said. I certainly don't want Red on the team right now so that's debatable. "Whatever Baywatch. I'm here to stay." Artemis said smirking. I am really thinking this girl and I are gonna become best friends. Aqualad continued. "You came to us for a reason." Aqualad said. Red Arrow turned to Aqualad. "Yeah, a reason named Doctor Serling Roquette." Red said. Robin pulled up his holographic computer. "Nano robotics genius in Star City. Vanished two weeks ago." Robin said. "Abducted two weeks ago. By the League of Shadows." Red Arrow said. The Shadows? "Whoa! You want us to rescue her from the shadows?" Robin asked. "Hard core!" KF said fist bumping Robin. "I already rescued her." Red said. So what are we supposed to do? "Only one problem. The shadows had already coerced her into creating a weapon. Doc calls it, the Fog. Comprised of millions of microscopic robots. Nanotechnology infiltrators. Capable of disintegrating anything in their path. Concrete, steel, flesh, bone. Buts its true purpose isn't mere destruction. It's theft. The infiltrators eat and store raw data from any computer system, and deliver the stolen intel to the Shadow's. Providing them access to weapons, strategic defense, cutting edge science and tech." Red Arrow explained. Wow. That could destroy buildings and other damage. "Perfect for extortion, manipulation, power broking. Yeah, sounds like the Shadows." Artemis said. "Like you know anything about the Shadows." Wally said. Artemis said nothing, but she smirked. "Who Are You!!??" KF shouted. "Roquettes working on a virus to render the Fog inert." Red said. "But if the Shadows's know she can do that..." I began. "They'll target her." Red said. I could have said that myself thank you. "Right now she's off the grid. I stashed her at the local high school's computer lab." Red Arrow said. "You left her alone?!" Green Arrow asked. Way to go hero. "She's safe enough for now." RA said. Green Arrow walked up to Roy, "Then let you and I keep her that way." Green Arrow said. "Don't you want to take your new protégé?" RA snapped. Batman put a hand on GA's shoulder, "You brought this to the team. It's their mission, which means its now here too." Green Arrow said. I smiled at Artemis which she returned. "Then my job is done." Red Arrow said walking towards the zeta tubes. "Recognized, Speedy--" "Thats Red Arrow B06, update." And Red Arrow was gone. "Good riddance." I mutter under my breath. Robin gives me a weird look, saying he heard me.
