"Who's going to Taipei? Audrey's going to Taipei! Who's staying in a fancy hotel? Audrey's staying in a fancy hotel!" Said girl was packing a suitcase with five days worth of clothes. Her mom was going to Taipei to interview some important people. Audrey didn't bother getting their names. Her mom worked at the Daily Planet, a news company. Dad didn't get to go, so its a girls trip!! Mom said pack a dress so I'm assuming the event is something fancy. I go to my closet and pick out a short maroon dress with black tights and black boots. I shove that in the suitcase not caring if it gets wrinkled, there'll be a iron right? On her nightstand, her phone buzzed. It was a text message from Dick.
Dick: Hey, just got your message! Taipei? Sweet! I went there last year with Bruce. It's nice!
Audrey: Awesome! Well, I'll see you when I get back. Don't have to much fun torturing Wally without me! ;)
Audrey set her phone back down and continued to pack. Ten minutes later she was dragging her suitcase down the stairs. "I'm ready mom!" Audrey shouted. "Ok go put your stuff in the car!" Her moms voice called from somewhere. I picked up my suitcase and carried out out to our little blue car. I threw it into the trunk and went back inside. "Hey could you put my bad in the car too?" My mom said poking her head out of her room. "It's in the living room." I grumbled out a 'sure' and took her bag too.
Soon we were on the road heading for the airport. Dad was driving. "Are you sure the two of you are going to be alright?" He asked. Lois smiled, "I am very sure. May I remind you, we have a half Kryptonian daughter." She said. "We sure do." Dad said. I laughed a little. Soon we got to the airport. Dad unloaded our bags and hugged us goodbye. "See you soon kiddo!" Dad said hugging me, I hug back saying, "See ya dad!" Mom and dad do their goodbye thing and we head inside the airport. Mom got our tickets and we boarded the plane. Mom and I got a row to ourselves and I fell asleep listening to music on my phone.
My mom woke me up as we were descending. I look outside and see that it is night. All the lights shining and the tall buildings of Taipei. It was seriously cool. We got off the plane and got our bags and hailed a taxi. Or whatever they're called in Taipei. I don't speak Taiwanese. Taipei is the capital city of Taiwan, so lots and lots of noodles. Noodles are good. Mom and I got a hotel room at the Madison Taipei Hotel. It's supposed to be top rated, so it should be good. We put our stuff down and got ready for bed. "So tomorrow night is when the Peace Summit will begin. Are you sure you want to come?" Mom asked. I nodded, "You'll be bored." She said. I shrugged my shoulders and got in bed. Mom turned off the lights and got into bed also. I drifted off to sleep once more.
Skip to Peace Summit. I stood outside of some building in my dress. (A/N: Picture) Mom was waiting for everyone to go inside so she could start asking questions to the leaders about the discussion. Cat Grant, a reporter from America was reporting live. I knew her from various places. "This is Cat Grant reporting from Taipei where the historic peace summit between South Rhelasia and North Rhelasia has completely broken down. As a last resort, Prime Minister Tseng of South Rhelasia and North Rhelasia's General Singh Manh Li have agreed to bring in a independent arbitrator. But who is it?" I myself didn't have a clue. "United Nations have said it might be Superman. But man of steel seems unlikely." Cat said. Uh yeah. Dad would have come with us if that were the case. Definitely not Superman. "The arbitrator is due to arrive by car." Cat said. Mom and I were standing a feet away from the general and prime minister waiting for a moment to ask questions. I soon heard sirens of escort police and the mysterious arbitrator has arrived. A white limo pulls up but suddenly a gun shot is heard. All of us duck down and I look around, my eyes widened at the sight of Cheshire on a newsstand. "Cheshire." I growled under my breath. I was about to take action but an arrow stops the missile for hitting the car. Mom and I move away and watch as Cheshire runs and starts to go for the car again. She takes down all the security guards. Once more, I was about to do something when, someone takes Cheshire to the ground. Guards surround them. Cheshire stands up and puts her arms up in surrender. The guy on the ground got up and one of the guards move to arrest him. But it was, Roy? "We have just witnessed an assassination attempt, live. Thankfully no one seems to be hurt." The arbitrator steps out of the cat and I gasp. It was Lex Luthor. Roy saved Luthor's life!? What was he doing here!? He can't be the peace maker!? He's an evil mastermind who tries to kill me and my dad!! Of course no one knew that. My mom frowned in disgust. My mom keeps up her appearance and walks in with the rest of the group. She ask him questions, "Mr. Luthor, how to you feel about being the arbitrator?" Mom said. I could tell she was holding back a snark. "I feel that it is good for the world that these two countries make peace. World peace would be life's greatest achievement. How are you Miss Lane?" He said. World peace yeah right. If he really wants world peace, I'll eat my phone. "I am doing fine." My mom said writing down his answer. "This must be your daughter?" Luthor said. He extended his hand. "Audrey Kent sir." I said taking it. Shaking hands with my sworn enemy. Way to go Audrey. "Pleasure to meet you. Now if you'll excuse me I must go make peace between these two countries." And he left. My mom grumbled something and followed. I walked up next to Roy, "What the heck are you doing here!?" I whisper shout. "Apparently saving Luthor's life. I should ask you the same thing." Roy said. "My mom is a journalist remember?" I said. Roy nodded. "Look, I'm sorry I became distant." Roy said. "This is not the time nor place. And your acting like we're dating." I say. Roy snorts. "After this, we will talk." He said. "Fine." I say. "Hey, do you want to help me with something?" He asks. "What?" I say. "Luthor wants me 'protecting him' so he doesn't get killed. So apparently I've become his distant guard. And I may need your help." He said. I look at him, "Me? Help my sworn enemy?" I say. "I know. But it may get to much for me to handle alone." He said. "Fine. I'll do it for you. Not Luthor." I say. Roy smirked and walked away. I walked back to my mom and whispered in her ear. "Roy needs help with something. I need to do the whole saying the world thing." I say. Mom looks at me and nods. "You better be careful, especially when Luthor is involved." She says. I nodded and left to the bathroom. I opened the small window in the bathroom and flew outside. I flew fast to the hotel and changed into my Supergirl outfit. I met Roy on a roof. He was in his Red Arrow costume. We ran across roofs until we reached the Taipei police department. Time to question Cheshire. We stood in from of her cell. "Aren't you going to ask me anything?" Cheshire said. "I think you know what I'm after." Red Arrow said. Cheshire stood up and started practicing calming martial arts. "I do actually." She said. "Do you?" She said. "Who hired you?" I asked. "Shadows." Was all she said. "Who hired them?" Roy asked. "I don't ask." Cheshire said while winking at Roy. Eew. "What's the end game? The peace summit or Luthor himself?" Roy asked. "Tow birds. One stone. Hey, where's your other little sidekick friends? Besides her? They're always fun to play with." Cheshire said. Creepy. Subconsciously I moved a little closer to Roy. "Especially ar---chery girl." Cheshire said. Artemis? "I like her." Cheshire said. "She, they aren't in my league, except she is helping me right now." Roy said gesturing to me. "And you think your in mine?" Cheshire said grabbing the front of Roy's shirt and pulling him closer to the bars. She whispered something and Roy growled, "I don't." Cheshire pulled him closer, "Are you sure about that?" Cheshire asked. "Oh no. Enough of that." I say yanking Roy back. Cheshire smirked and suddenly dropped down to the floor. "Oh no." Roy said. No sooner the wall blew apart and the blast threw us back. "Ahh!" Red Arrow and I yelled as we flew back. Sportsmaster was hanging on a rope outside of the big hole and Cheshire escaped by grabbing onto it also. Roy growled and we ran to the roof. Roy shot an arrow to another building to pursue the villains. He used his bow like a zip line. I flew behind. The two villains were running on a roof not far in front of us. "I admire persistence, but-" Cheshire said throwing a blade disk. It sliced through the rope and I caught Roy and set him down on the roof. We still chased them. They got to a helicopter and got in. It immediately started flying away. Roy shot an arrow and hooked on to the chopper. Cheshire soon cut it and Roy went falling. Sadly he crashed into me so we both were falling. I managed to grab onto him and slow our fall and land on a roof. Luckily the arrow end was also a tracking device. We knew exactly where they were.
