He responded. My heart beat a little faster. It's been so long, too long. Tears ran down my face as I texted back.
*1 Hour Later*
We decided to meet up at the park. I got there and sat on the bench waiting for him. Then I saw a patch of green hair walking toward me. I started to cry again as I stood up and walk toward him.
We both walked a little faster until we locked into a tight embrace. Having him back in my arms felt like the greatest thing in the world.
"I'm so sorry, Jack." I mumbled through sobs.
"Me too."
"I love you."
"I love you too, Mark."
