Jack and Mark are best friends, they always have been, and always will be.

Jack And Mark: 6 Years Old

Third Person POV:

Jack say beside Mark, both leaning against a large oak tree, the one up on the hill behind Mark's house. The small Irish boy spent his time picking flowers and messing with the hem of his pale pink skirt. Mark, on the other hand, was just being quiet, enjoying hanging out with his best friends. Mark always liked having quiet time, sitting in a comfortable silence with his friend, and Jack enjoyed it too.

The Irish boy has always been a bit 'girly', he loves wearing dresses and skirts. Just about everyone accepts him as well, nobody really minds that the young boy liked wearing 'female' clothing. Mark thought Jack looked beautiful, in dresses or shorts. Everything about the pale boy made Mark smile, but why?

*Age 12*

"Markimoo! Hurry! I don't want to miss the sunset!" Jack whined pulling Mark to the oak tree.

Mark just giggled and rolled his eyes. They both sat down against the oak tree and watches the sunset. Jack looked absolutely stunning in the lighting. He moved Jack's head to face him before pressing their lips together. Their first kiss, and it was amazing.

*Age 17*

"What happens after we graduate?" Jack said, sprawled out on Mark's bed.

"College?"

"Are you going to college?"

"Of course I am, someone's gotta pay our bills."

"Our?"

"Remember the plan? We're going to live together in an apartment, maybe adopt some kids after a while. Remember?"

"Of course I remember, I just wanted an excuse to talk about it."

*Age 19*

"Mark, when are we gonna get married?"

"Whenever you want, love."

"Soon, I hope."

"Soon it is then."

*Age 24*

Mark fiddled with the ring on his left hand. That ring marked the best day of his life's he smiled and looked at his beautiful husband.

*Age 30*

"Tim are you dressed yet? It's almost time to go!" Jack called up the stairs.

"Coming!" The small boy yelled running down the stairs.

"Sam did you brush your teeth?" Mark questioned after finishing brushing her hair.

"Yes daddy."

"Good, now hurry or you'll miss the bus, remember to stay together! Love you both!"

After the the two men kissed their children's heads, they bid them farewell and the kids left to catch the school bus.

*Age 84*

The two elderly men sat against and old oak tree, fingers laced together.

"I love you, Mark."

"I love you, too."
