Third Person POV:

3 months. 3 months without speaking to each other. Mark was slowly dying. Not just because of the steroids he continued to take every day, but because he missed that happy, little leprechaun.

He's starting to become more and more depressed each day. Another side affect of steroids, and heart break.

Jack was his everything. He feels empty without him. Not only were they dating, but they were best friends. Now Mark has nothing.

Burned into Mark's left forearm was one thing. A name. "Jack". It's like a tattoo, but with hot metal.

Jack was taking this break up hard too. He stopped leaving his house. He's cried himself to sleep every night. He reads over their old text conversations every day, wishing he hadn't broken up with the love of his life. So many regrets.

Mark grabbed a piece of paper and began to write something. He apologized for everything, telling Jack how much he loves him. The he grabbed a few pill bottles, steroids and other random pills. He downed a handful, and then another handful. His vision got blurrier and blurrier until be blacked out and hit the floor of his bedroom.

Jack arrived at Mark's how, just hopping to see the red haired boy at least once more. He knocked on the door, no answer. He knocked again, no answer. He walked inside, why was it unlocked? Someone has to be home.

"Mark?" Jack asked tiptoeing to Mark's bedroom.

He walked through Mark's bedroom door and saw that Mark was laying on his bed, sleeping.

Except, he wasn't breathing.

Jack panicked and started crying again, he dialed 911 quickly.

*Two Days Later*

Jack stare at Mark, who seemed to be barely breathing. He was sobbing because he knew the probability of Mark living was very low.

Jack gripped Mark's hand a little tighter and stared at the boy's face.

"Mark, I don't know if you can hear me, but I want you to know, no, I need you to know how much I love you. I regretted leaving you the moment I said we were done. I love you, so very much. Being without you has been torture. I missed you so much. I need you, Mark. Please live, for me. Please."

Jack sighed and looked down at his lap, crying harder.

"I love you." Jack said before looking at Mark's unmoving eyelids.

And then they opened.
