Drew POV
(A/n Drew is a girl)
I walked over to my seat, still slightly annoyed by the fact I wasn't seated by Gwen and Sophie. At least Gwen was only a few rows in front of me.
For the first time I looked at the person I was sitting next to.
I think my jaw actually dropped when our eyes met. I felt my eyes widen, and my head started spinning a little.
Boy was he cute. In fact he was quite possibly the cutest boy I'd ever met. His hair was brown and spiked up in the front a little. His eyes were light blue, he had a few freckles scattered across the bridge of his nose, and he was probably 5 foot 9 or 10, tall compared to my 5 foot 7.
I slammed my mouth shut and the boy chuckled a bit, my cheeks flushed pink.
"Hi," he said, "I'm Riley."
I smiled again, "My name's Drew."
Riley POV
When our eyes met her jaw dropped, her face flushed, her eyes widened, and it was everything I had not to do the same thing.
She was even prettier up close. Her blue eyes were dark around the edges and got lighter as they moved in until all that was left was a spiky green ring around the pupil, her lips were a red pink, and she had so many freckles I didn't think I could count that high.
So her name was Drew.
I couldn't help myself, " I love your smile," I said.
Her blush deepened, her smile widened a bit. "Thanks." She answered happily.
I could tell she was the kind of girl that guys flirted with often, but she usually didn't realize or pay attention.
"I like your freckles," she said, her tone lightly flirty.
Now I could tell she didn't flirt often, but when she did, it wasn't usually an accident.
I was suddenly jealous. I wanted to be the only guy she flirted with.
"Thanks," I answered, pushing away the unfamiliar feeling of jealousy, "I think yours are pretty nice too. "
Her fading blush reappeared, slightly lighter. She laughed a bit and sat down. "How can you not like angel kisses?" She asked.
"Well, I sure do." I answered, but I think we were thinking of different Angels.
I liked the light flirting thing we had going on. I could tell she did too from her big smile.
"So are you new?" She asked.
"Yup," I said, "just moved here."
"Cool," she said, "do you know where all your classes are? I could show you around if you want."
"Great," I said, "it took me, like, 10 minutes to find this class." That might have been slightly exaggerated, but I wanted her to show me around.
"Perfect," she said. "What's your schedule?"
"Here," I said, I handed it to her.
Her smile widened again, "we have 5 classes together," she said happily.
"Cool," I said, trying to mask my excitement, but I'm sure I was smiling like a doofus.
"5th period I have zoology while you have PE. Those are pretty close, I can take you and not be late," she said, more to herself than me.
"Ok," I answered.
Then we sat there in silence, not exactly uncomfortable, but like there was so much more we wanted to say, but had no idea where to start.
Then the blonde came over, they started talking and laughing again, and Drew motioned over the curly haired girl.
Drew turned to me suddenly and said, "Riley, these are my best friends, Gwen," (the blonde), "and Sophie. And this," she motioned to me," is Riley."
"Nice to meet you," Gwen said smiling softly.
"Yup," Sophie added, then she turned and whispered something to the others.
Drews face began to blush again, and she laughed, not a flirty giggle, a real laugh, it made me want her even more, although I knew it wasn't the greatest reason.
Then the bell rang, Sophie and Gwen rushed back to their seats, and Drew turned forward to face the front of the class, "I'm glad we're sitting together," she whispered softly.
