Gwen POV
I slid into the booth across from Noah at Gerald Jim's Pizza house.
"Hey Gwenny," he looked up and smiled.
I smiled back, loving the way he called me Gwenny. "How was your day?" I asked, finding his feet under the table and twisting mine around them.
"Great, how was yours?" He answered, grinning and moving his feet on top of mine, holding them down while I pulled back, trying to free them, and finally tugging one out and stomping it on top of his. We continued to foot fight until a waiter came and interrupted us.
"Excuse me," she cleared her throat when we continued to laugh and didn't notice her she standing and waiting to take out order.
"Oh I'm sorry," I laughed and looked up, seeing Sandy, a girl who was about 5' 4''. She had dark tan skin, a curly blondish brown bob, and brown eyes. She was very pretty and was dating the varsity quarterback for our football team, Hayden Sawer.
"Can I take your order?" She asked kindly, not seeming upset about having to wait to take our order.
"Yeah," Noah said, "one medium pepperoni with two plates?" He looked at me questioningly. I nodded. He looked back at her. "Please."
Sandy jotted down our order, smiled, and walked away.
"So..." I said, "what are your plans for Friday after school?"
"I happen to be doing..." he pretended to think, "oh, nothing. Did you have an idea?"
"Yes...." I answered, looking up and giving him a small grin. "I mean," I twirled my hair around my finger flirtatiously, "we could maybe," I bit my lip, batting my eyelashes and looking as seductive as I could.
"Yes?" He said, falling for my evil plan. "I think I'd be down for, that." He grinned.
"Awesome, I can't wait to have a Harry Potter marathon!" I smiled a big stupid smile and dropped my act, giggling when his face fell.
"Ok fine, you got me," he laughed.
"Wait really?" I asked, excited he'd agreed.
"I'd do just about anything to spend time with you Gwenny."*****friday***
Noah POV
I knocked on Gwen's front door, holding a bag of snacks, chips, candy, chocolate. The door opened and my smile grew. Gwen wasn't dressed in one of her usual cute, stylish, and slightly done up but still casual outfits, but instead was wearing a cute pair of short sleep shorts, which were fuzzy and blue with purple spots, and a loose grey fleecy sort of shirt that cropped just above her shorts. She looked hot.
"Hi Noah the Boa constrictor," she snorted at the name she made up.
"Hi Gwenito the burrito," I said, making up my own silly nickname for her.
"Oh my gosh, I totally want a burrito now," she laughed.
"Well I didn't bring burritos, but I brought chocolate," I said.
"That'll do," Gwen laughed and grabbed my hand, tugging me into her house and down the stairs to the basement.
"Ok, so we're watching down here?" I asked.
"Yup, there's a nice couch and a big tv and actually the couch is really small but it's not like I wasn't going to snuggle with you the whole time anyway so it really doesn't matter," she giggled.
I grinned. I really didn't mind the thought of having Gwen in my arms all day, I honestly thought it would be an amazing way to spend my time. Noah, I thought to myself, you are really falling way too hard for this girl. You're acting like you're in love with her. Which you aren't. Are you?
"Noah, come here," Gwen smiled sweetly and patted the spot next to her on the couch.
"Ok," I walked over and sat down in the couch next to Gwen, leaning back into the corner.
"Ok, now let me just..." Gwen trailed off, working on turning in the first Harry Potter movie, when it started and the familiar music was playing all throughout the small basement room, Gwen leaned back and snuggled into my arms. She tucked her slender shoulder under my arm and leaned her head into my chest.
She poked my chest, "oooh mr. Muscle man." She giggled and laid her hand across my stomach. She tilted her head up to look at me and I kissed her nose. She smiled and pressed her lips onto mine, and I returned her sweet kiss, then wrapped my arms around her and tucked my chin over her head.
***after the 5th movie****
Gwen had been snuggled in my arms for probably ten hours now, which may sound ridiculous, but somehow, neither of us were bored or uncomfortable, but just happy tucked into each other.
Gwen leaned back her head and looked at me, adjusting herself so her head was in my lap, just looking up at me. "You really are amazing, you know that?" She said.
"No, I'm pretty sure all the amazing is you," I answered, completely serious.
"No, I mean it, I don't know any guy who would just lay here for like, 10 hours, and let me snuggle into their arms and not move. You're really, really an amazing boyfriend," She said seriously.
"Thank you I guess. You're an amazing girlfriend, like really amazing, like, I'm falling for you way too fast amazing." I answered.
"Well," she blushed, giving me the genuine look she'd given the day she declared herself my girlfriend, "if it helps, I believe I am falling at exactly the same rate."
"I guess that puts us on the same page," I said.
"I guess it does," she answered, sitting up so she was in my lap.
"I guess it does," I repeated, making my decision then and there to never, ever let Gwen go.
"Gwendolyn?" I asked. "May I kiss you now?"
"I'd go for it if I were you." She smiled happily, and I kissed her. Then she snuggled herself back into my arms. I pulled her tight against my chest, feeling luckier than I ever had before.
*******
Hours later, we had finished all the Harry Potter movies without stopping- something I'd never managed to do before - and I wasn't at all bored. I didn't get it. I was never bored with Gwen, whether we were watching movies, eating pizza, swimming, just sitting doing nothing. I honestly never stopped thinking about her. I didn't even glance at other girls anymore. I couldn't believe I was the lucky guy who managed to get Gwendolyn Porter."That was so good." Gwen said, yawning as she spoke. "I can't believe we really watched all those! I mean, I don't even usually get through one." She laughed, "I'm pretty sure the only reason I enjoyed that so much was the fact that I got to be wrapped up in your arms the whole time," she blushed lightly, looking up through her dark eyelashes.
"You have no idea," I answered, smiling and putting my hands on the sweet blush that covered her cheeks. Her cheeks reddened even more in the dim light of the basement.
"You're so sweet," she laughed softly. "I'm not sure what I did to deserve you."
"I'm pretty sure it's the other way around," I stared into her blue eyes, my hands still on her cheeks.
"What are you talking about? You could get any girl you wanted, all the pretty girls watch you when you walk past," she laughed again, but her usual confidence was wavering.
"Well I never wanted any of them. The only one I ever looked back at was you." I answered, feeling a light blush rise on my own cheeks.
"The thing is," she looked up solemnly, "you can't say stuff like that," she whispered.
"Why not?" I whispered back.
"Because it makes it harder not to fall in love with you," her words mixed with her warm breath on my neck made my heart stop for a second."If the goal was not to fall in love with you," I paused, not knowing what my next words would do, "then I already lost the game."
She gasped, her heart pounding faster against my chest. She brought her face forward and leaned her lips onto mine, whispering quietly onto them, "me too."
