Yn POV (Overlapping with the last paragraphs of Seven - Book of Eibon)
"Time to go," Noah said, glancing at me with his sadistic eyes. He started to faze towards Gopher.
"If you-" Kid let out. "Hurt her-" he spit blood. "You'll die," Kid stood up. His eye was bleeding.
"I'm starting to think that this girl is just as good of a prize as you are," Noah said.
"Prize?" Kid asked.
I'm not a 'prize'. A prize is something you could win. I guess if they can be won they can be stolen too, makes more sense.
"I have a collection. Everything that I think is worth something, I have," Noah explained. "I keep it in the Book of Eibon."
"So I don't kill her?" Gopher asked.
"No," Noah said. "She is in the book now," Noah opened the book and put it over my head. There was a strange light.
Am I upside down or right side up? There was no telling with direction I was in either. After I saw the light I was in an endless ocean of white, it even felt like water.
A black figure appeared before me. A black mass gazed at me with white eyes. "What is the power that you seek?"
"Power-" I stuttered. I was paralyzed, my body lost all feeling.
Kid POV
"Make that- that book spit her out!" I demanded. I desperately pleaded to Noah to release my love.
"You'll join her," Noah said. He started to laugh, a deep laughter, piercing my soul.
"If you think that I am going to consent to going into that book, you are a special kind of stupid," I said. I tried to be as insulting as possible. The more defensive I act, the more trouble I will cause them.
"Special indeed," a familiar voice said from next to me. I turned to see Stein and Spirit.
"So, Kid, what happened in these last few moments?" Spirit asked. "We saw a bright light."
"That book-" I pointed. "Yn is inside of it."
"Oh dear, that's not good," Stein said in his usual half monotonous tone. He smiled at the thrill of the situation.
"Don't ignore your enemies in a battle!" Gopher yelled.
"Forgot you were even there," Stein now wielded Spirit. "Lord Death told us to be here." Stein had a love for taunting his opponents in battle, teasing them to the best of his abilities.
"Like that's going to stop me from getting Noah's prize," Gopher said. This man was clearly loyal to that 'Noah' guy. I wish we had loyalty like that back at the academy.
"You already got one prize! Isn't that enough?" I yelled. I couldn't forget my anger, how they stole Yn from me.
"Maybe," Noah said. "But since you have affection for her I was thinking of torturing her," he smiled sadistically. He wasn't kidding. He was telling the full truth. She was going to get hurt- or worse.
"She is just an innocent girl!" Spirit yelled. "She joined the DWMA less than a month ago. You can't do this." Spirit stressed her innocence and youth. He was a strong believer in protecting the children at the DWMA.
"Less than a month ago?" Noah repeated. "That means that she hasn't been infected by your 'justice' and 'order'. We can suck all of your 'sense' out of her." He seemed to be happy with that statement, he made the best of it. His plan was forming, he was going to try to change her to be against the DWMA.
The Manticore was growing in anger and anticipation. It wanted to jump, but knew it had to wait for Noah's orders. It was a loyal creature to say the least.
"If you're lucky you will never have to see that bitch again," Gopher said. He keeps on calling her a bitch... He is a sexist pig, I can tell by the tone of his voice. I will get her back, even if I have to kill myself to achieve it. Gopher looked enraged now, he was more annoyed than angry. Noah was paying more attention to Yn than he was him.
"Manticore, attack," Noah instructed. The Manticore brought it's spikes above Stein. With a clean slice, the Manticore's 'foot' (if I can call it that) was sliced by the blade of Spirit.
With another swift movement of his body, Stein kicked off of the ground creating a cloud of dust and striking the final blow the Manticore. In the rush of it all Stein landed on the ground and picked me up, he fled to a hidden place just beyond the rubble and trees.
"We have to go back!" I yelled at Stein. "They said that if we fought, she'd die." There was nothing that worries me more in a fight than losing an ally.
"But they also said-" Spirit said with a sigh. "That they'd torture her, they even called her a prize." He knew that being tortured was better than being killed, even I knew that. But if they break her mind, she may be better off dead.
"We have time until they kill her, I assure you she won't die," Stein said to me. He tried to calm my nerves, but he failed to.
"And if she is?" I asked impatiently.
"There is always my opportunity to turn her into a zombie," Stein joked. "Run and tests on dead bodies, female bodies."
Spirit face palmed. "She won't be dead, is what Stein is getting at. Ignore his morbid humor," Spirit reassured.
"Let's- just go," I stuttered. "I have to think of a plan."
Yn POV
I stared aimlessly into the black mass that forced questions upon me. "What is your name?" He asked.
"Yn-"
"I see that you are a weapon," he said.
"What are you? And how do you know that?" I asked. I could barely move, I am not a strong swimmer, either.
"I am the great old one," he answered. "The embodiment of Madness and power. I'll ask again, what is the power you seek?"
"The power for you to fuck off, great old man," I retorted. With those words said, my paralyzation turned into a complete black out.
I heard him say something inaudible before I fainted. But I knew that he caused this to happen, I must've crossed the line.
