Nine - Getting to Know the Kidnappers

Kim's POV
    "Are you serious?" I yelled/asked Kid. "Two magic beings took Yn?"
     "And it's my fault," Kid sighed.
     "Don't think that way," Tsubaki put her hand on Kid's shoulder. "That would have happened to me if I was there. It could've happened to Liz or Patty, too." Like always, Tsubaki tried to console her friends.
     "Yn is special, there is no excuse to why I can't blame myself, 100% my fault," Kid sighed. "I am garbage..." he started to whine.
     "Here we go again," Liz sighed. She acted like this was routine, which it really is.
    Patty laughed while Kid had a tantrum on the ground. Liz kicked him and told him to get up. He complained about how the asymmetrical aspects of the world caused him to fail.
    "How about you go talk to your dad about a plan," I suggested.
    "I should," Kid said.
    "Good idea, Kim," Jacky told me.
    "She has the best ideas," Ox added.
   "Ugh," I said and walked away. "Let's go Jacky."
    "So there's a lot going on," Jacky said, listing all of the troubles DWMA has in order from most important to least important, according to Kid.

     "I trust that they will find Yn and kill all of those bad guys," I said. "That Noah guy can't be that strong can he?"
     "Probably not," Jacky replied.
     "I hope Kid finds a plan to save Yn. I'd be happy to help," I said. "If I get paid..."
Yn POV
I woke up with chains around my hands. I was hanging from a wall, it was a cold wall, made from stone and brick. When I opened my eyes it looked the same, black. I kicked off of the wall to try to get these chains off, I knew my attempts were futile.
    The center off the darkness lightened and I saw a crack of light shine through a door. I could see the outlines off the giant bricks that created the room. A silhouette watched me hang helplessly.
    "It's a pretty sight to see someone from the DWMA in that state," the silhouette said. "Suits them. They are just flies." The voice was deep and menacing.
"Flies?" I squinted into the light. "If we are flies then you are just a disease, worthless and tiny," I could now see the person who I was talking to, he smelled highly of alcohol. "All you do is wreck lives..." I had to assume only that. They are mean enough to threatened to kill an innocent bystander, so who is to say that they haven't killed others?
     The figure through a bottle onto the wall next to me, I was in the splash zone. The cold beer covered my hair, I knew that I would be sticky for weeks. "You got a mouth, why don't you put it to good use?" He grinned towards me, I saw sharp teeth.
     "I don't do deeds for old crusty men," I rebutted. I wanted to add salt to the wound.
"Giriko-" Noah's voice shot out from the light. "Lay a hand on her and you'll regret it."
"Why? What's so special about her?" The man I guessed is Giriko asked.
"She is a friend of the reaper child," Noah answered. "We can't bring too much harm to her, if she dies we have nothing to trap him with."
"You son of a bitch," I said. I spit on the ground at their feet.
      "Feisty," an additional voice said.
"Is this a zoo?" I asked. "Why is everyone looking at me?"
"Gopher isn't here," The new voice commented.
"I was wondering why it's quiet here," I said sarcastically.
      "Why are we wasting my time with small talk?" Giriko asked. He walked out of the room and went to an unknown location within the facility.
      "How long will you make me stay here?" I asked.
      "Until your friend comes. Then I'll kill you," the new voice said.
     "Who are you?" I asked.
     "You might have heard of me," the voice answered. "Justin Law."
     "Death Scythe?" I asked.
     "Glad you know me," Justin replied. I could hear the smile on his face through the tone of his voice. I could also hear some music playing.
Liz POV
     "Tsubaki," I said. "I'm confused about something..." I admitted to her. If there was one girl I could trust, it was Tsubaki.
      "Ask away," she said with an inviting smile.
      "What exactly is 'Noah's Group'?" I asked. "I hear Kid talking about it so often. Do you know?"
       "BlackStar talks about them from time to time. It is a group founded by Noah, the person who kidnapped Yn. There are a few more members, one of them is Justin Law," Tsubaki said with a frown. She knew that Justin was once an ally, she was probably sad that he decided to leave.
     "Wow," I said. "Nice to know." I had to be sarcastic. It's terrible to think of a once friend leaving and never returning.
No One's POV (Death Room)
     "Father," Kid said with a breath. "What are we doing to do about Yn? She is in significant danger."
     "I thought we could bring a team to the location and steal the Book of Eibon. Though, I don't think they would leave her sitting in that old, dusty book," Lord Death said with his usual happy tone. He was acting like there was nothing wrong.
     "Our best bet is to go to the location and capture one of Noah's accomplices," Spirit had suggested. His plan was slightly flawed.
     "If it works-" Kid choked out. "I'll kill them once we get our information." He made a promise to himself that he wouldn't let anything happen to Yn.
     "And if we don't?" Lord Death asked.
     "I'll keep forcing torture on them until they tell us," Kid said violently. "We should start picking our individuals to go on the mission."
     "I have a few in mind..." Spirit said.
Time Skip (Death Room)
   "You want us to go and fight the people who took Yn?" Maka asked.
   "I'll wreck 'em," BlackStar said. "I'll show them where the real power comes from!"
    "BlackStar, calm down," Tsubaki patted BlackStar's back.
    "So are we going to be sky fighting or something? Will I get paid?" Kim asked. Jacky laughed.
    "No payment," Lord Death said. "Kids, it will be a hard task but it's for the good. You've done this before and can do it again."
