Mr. Barrie began to get up with a confused look on his face.

"Wait! Don't open it!"

"Why not?"

"It could be my brothers... Or grandmother... I need to hide!"

Mr. Barrie paused. I could tell he didn't know which side to take.

"Go upstairs, I'll take care of it. I'll tell them you are here, but..."

"I'm using the bathroom," I exclaimed as I ran upstairs.

I heard him open the door so I snuck down the hall. The upstairs consisted of a hallway with rooms connected to it. Why not explore? I began with the first room on my right. When I looked inside, I saw a bed, and a dresser. It seemed too plain to be Mr. Barrie's room, and I think he shared with his wife. That must be the guest room. Downstairs, I heard a man's voice. I snuck around the corner. Wait a minute...

That's Mr. Frohman!

I let out a large sigh of relief. I guess it was louder than I thought, because I saw him look to the top of the stairs.

"James! Do you have children now?!"

"Um... no... I'm just watching Peter at the moment.

Mr. Frohman gave a confused but satisfied look.

"Alright James. I must get going. We'll talk later!"

"So long Charles," Mr. Barrie said as he closed the door.

I ran downstairs, filled with relief. I grabbed my journal.

"Do you have a pencil, Mr. Barrie?"

"I believe so."

He grabbed two pencils, and his journal too. We both sat on his couch and opened our books.

We must have wrote for an hour.
