A/N: Hey everyone! Thank you for reading if you've gotten this far xD. I know it seems as if the story is pretty slow but I apologize if  it's boring! I'll try and make it more exciting! Enjoy part nine!

I walked downstairs, leaving mother to rest in bed. Someone knocked at the door so I walked over to answer it. There, standing stiff as usual, was grandmother.

"Hello, Peter."

"Good morning grandmother."

"Where is Sylvia? And your brothers?"

"The others are upstairs... Mother was feeling a bit under the weather."

I saw a look of upset disapproval on her face as she stood there, refusing to respond. She walked upstairs without looking back at me, leaving me with nothing but silence. I looked over to the counter, grabbed a banana, and was about to head out on my journey.

"Where are you going?" Michael asked.

I turned around and saw George and Jack trailing him. Great.

"To the park..."

"Why?" Jack responded.

George stepped in, "Did mother say you could? And wait a minute, where is mother?"

"Why weren't we invited to the park?!" Michael fussed.

I took a deep inhale and began to speak rapidly.

"No, mother didn't give me permission to go to the park! And she doesn't know! And this morning, if you have to know, I had to help her into bed after a coughing fit!"

I ran out the door and slammed it behind me. Tears streamed from my eyes and down my cheeks as I ran as fast as I could to the park. I could feel my face turning red as I heard a stern voice shouting from behind me, but this time, I heard concern and care in it. I turned around for a moment and saw grandmother calling from the door.

"Peter! Come back!"

I shook my head to myself and kept running. My vision was blurred from my uncontrollable tears. I looked down at my pocket and saw my journal. My feet pounded against the ground as I grabbed it and hugged it with my right arm.

The park was only a few feet away.
