As The Waves Crash Down...[Chapter 4]
Hehe...I just realized that I rarely edit my work and when I read them back...I see some embarrassing spelling mistakes. I hate it.
Anyway, so after I post this, I'll be going and editing all past chapters. I really like this story...so sad that it doesn't really have any readers, but I'm still gonna write it [:
(04/13/2010: OMG....DID I SWITCH HIS NAME TO LUKE STARTING HERE ON OUT?! I AM ALL KINDS OF MESSED UP IN THE HEAD FOR DOING THAT!!! GOD I WANNA SHOOT MYSELF. I fixed it [: )

"Uhhhh...Dan, whatever you think is going on has about an 100% chance of being wrong," I told him trying really hard not to scream at him for even thinking about what I'm sure he was thinking about.
"So are you telling me that you don't know him and that he's definitely not your boyfriend?" he asked in a curious tone.
"No, that's not what she's saying because I am," Jake cut me off.
I glared at him. He's making being his friend REALLY hard. "YES, DAN. That's what I'm saying...well, partly. I do know him but Jake was lying about the other part," I said honestly.
"Who's Jake?" asked Dan, he truly looked lost now.
"Um...Krys calls me Jake, man," Jake told Dan.
"Okay....you're telling me that you guys do know each other-apparently well enough to have special names for each other-and that this all happened tonight. Oh, and that one of you thinks you're dating but the other doesn't. Yup, this all makes perfect sense," Dan said.
Me and Jake laughed. Which earned him a glare from me.
"Look, Dan, I'll explain everything. I just really want to go home right now. I've really had enough drama..." I gave Jake a look which he reacted to by raising his hands innocently, "...for one night."
"...'kay. Let's go home. Great party, Mitch," Dan said.
"Hold on Dan," Jake said.
"Yeah, man?" Dan asked.
"Wanna stay over for the night? Of course Krys can stay, too," Jake asked giving me a smirk.
"NO!" I yelled. "Absolutely not! Let's go, Dan."
I grabbed Dan's arm and started pulling him through the crowd. Dan, however, was taller than me and way stronger, making me completely look like a fool when he chose to stay and I was pulling on an immovable mass that is my cousin.
"Sure, man! That'll be awesome! Gives me more time to party!" Dan said excitedly.
I immediately let go of Dan's arm and stared at him in disbelief.
"You-you CAN'T be serious, Dan!" I very nearly shouted at him. I was completely shocked.
"Why not? I'll just text mom and she's always fine with it. She guesses that I drink and she'd prefer that I just stay over at a friend's house than drive drunk anyway," Dan said with a shrug.
"Then it's settled!" Jake said happily. Dan merely smiled and rejoined the party.
I put my hands on my head and shook my head. "Oh my god," I whispered.
This was all getting to be too much. This party was supposed to get my mind off of how complicated my life was at the moment, but it definitely didn't achieve its goal. It just made my life even more complicated. I felt like cracking under all the stress. I really needed a breath of fresh air. Going back to the bench swing outside was out of the question because Jake would look there first.
