He looked kinda stunned when he saw me. He then sighed.

"Getting restless are we?" He asked while Walking towards me. "Would you like me to get a nurse and see if they can help you walk or just go back to bed?"

I held up my first finger to show him to get a nurse. I needed to stretch my legs out, they felt weak and stiff.

"Okay, I'll go get the nurse, can you sit down on the bed so I know you won't fall? Please?"

Nodding, I sat back up on the bed, my back facing him as he left to go get a nurse.

Waiting for him to come back with a nurse, it felt like it took forever. I just wanted to get up and walk, I was tired of this hospital smell and the bland walls, and the lack of life. It was so boring.

I was playing with the hem of the spotted hospital gown I was wearing when they came back in. But it was just him and a nurse. It was him, my brother, a bulky man. Why so many people? I didn't weigh that much for even more than one nurse.

"You ready?" The nurse asked me with her kind voice. She had a slight smile on her face the emphasized the small smile lines on her face. She seemed nice.

I nodded to her and she gently went to grip my arm as I stood up.

"Okay, let's take this slow. Just stand here for a minute and get your muscles used to your weight again. Okay?"

I nodded once again, stretching them out to adjust and work out the stiffness. I went to take a step forward and then another, till I reached the other side of the room. After a while the nurse just walked with me to be there in case anything happened.

"I think that you might be ready to get checked out and go home. What do you think?"

I nodded excitedly. I really wanted out of this building. My heart was aching to be in the fresh air and greenery of the forest. I wanted to run.

"Okay, let me go get the doctor. There might be a few tests before you leave, but that should be it. I'll help you into the bed before I leave." She walked me back to the bed before smiling back at me as she walked out.

As soon as she left there was this very akward silence. I looked back between Alpha Alex, my brother, and the very tense looking bulky man who was standing in the corner with a hard look on his face. All this akwardness made me tense. My hands grasped each other and I felt the release of popping my nuckles.

"Don't do that." Alpha Alex said. "It can cause arthritis."

I don't know what got into mean but I stared at him harshly as I popped both of my thumbs, then moved onto my toes. I briefly looked away to locate my pinky toe, but as a small breeze came, someone grabbed my hands. Looking up I saw that it was him, Alpha Alex. He looked much, much more intimidating up close, but also a whole lot more handsome.

He was looking into my eyes intensely and he said, "I said don't, it can cause arthritis."

His eyes were just so mesmerizing, I couldn't say no.

He let go of my hands and walked back to his original spot. There were small, hardly noticeable tingles where his hands we placed on my wrists.

Just as I was thinking the same smile-lined nurse and a doctor came in.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Hegburg. You are free to go, but I want weekly check-in's to check your weight, blood pressure and such. Does that work?" He asked as he looked to Alpha Alex then back at me. Alpha Alex gave a curt nod as did my brother. The tense looking guy, again, didn't say anything. Who was he?

"Alpha Alex and Beta Dakota? Would you mind going and checking her out while she gets ready to leave?" The doctor asked looking at the two men.

"I'll stay here, Dakota, go check her out." The Alpha said stiffly.

My brother got up and left as the nurse and doctor started to take the IV and breathing tubes out of me. There were clothes for me on the edge of the bed that I took to the attached bathroom to change into to.

Finishing up, I left the bathroom. The Alpha was the only one left in the room, not even the tense guy from the corner was here.

"You ready snowflake?"

Walking to him I nodded. I couldn't wait to get outside. I desperately needed fresh air. To smell the trees mostly.

My brother and the tense corner man were waiting by the door for us. Alpha Alex held open the door for me as I walked out.

The fresh air invaded my nose when I finally got out of the building. It was fresh and earthy, just the way I liked it. I really wanted to go for a run. But i didn't want to bother anyone.

We all hopped into a car, except for the tense corner guy. He was on a bike following up. Who the hell was he?

It took us 10 short minutes to reach a giant house. What was this place how many people lived here?

We got out of the car and walked up the the front door. As soon as I got inside a streetch was heard.

"KATTTRINNA!!!!!!!" The voice was female and very very loud. Slowly turning to my left, I faced for the first time in 6 years, the woman who started all this pain on me.
