Chapter 9 - Letting Go

"Deadshot?!" I shout

"Huh..? You know my dad?" The girl says.

"I know him a bit to well..." I say grabbing her and throwing her on my shoulders. I run out of the building. I don't know where to go, but I won't give up.)

As I'm running I notice a black figure standing above a building.

(It's Batsy.)

(No shit.)

I wave over too him. He looks down at me and swoops down off the building.

"How are you out?!"

"A friend. Don't hurt me, I'm trying to help this-"

"Zoey?" He asks as he looks above me.

"Hi, don't hurt my friend. She's helping me look for my dad."

He sighs and looks back down at me.

"You're not gonna hurt her?"

"No. I'm helping her. Now you help me, where's Deadshot?"

"That's something I can't discuss."

"Okay, so you want her father to die huh Batsy? How cruel." I say turning too walk away. I stop as I hear his voice and smirk.

"Fine. But, I'm afraid I can't allow you too actually SEE where we're going. I'll take you there. But I won't show you the area."

I turn around and turn my smirk into a smile

"Oh thank you Batsy! Just blindfold us up then!"

I say as he rolls his eyes and blindfolds me and Zoey. He grabs Zoey off my neck and then throws me over his shoulder. We then walk into his car, he straps me into the front seat with Zoey on my lap. We speed off.

(30 Minutes Later...)

"We're here." He says taking my blindfold off. My eyes slowly sting from the light. I look to my left and see a room.

"He's in there." Batman says as he points too the room in front of me.

I run in and open the door. Deadshot is covered in bruises and marks.

"Puddin!" I shout running too his side. He slowly opens his eye.

"Hey dollface, thought I'd never see you again." He laughs I start to unstrap him as I hear a scream from behind me.

"Zoey?" He asks as she runs too him hugging him.

"Daddy! What did they do to you?!" She cries

"Daddy's fine sweetie. Just, business."

I finish untying him and pull him up hugging him tightly.

"Ow, yeah I think they busted my ribcage doll."

"S-sorry! I just missed you." I say starting to cry.
