Chapter 10 - Bittersweet

"Why'd you follow me Deadshot..? This is all my fault.." I say looking down

"I followed you because I care about you. That prick took you as you were unconcious. To hell I won't follow his ass" I laugh a bit as I look out the window.

I look down and see, the one and only, a purple Lamborghini. I see a familiar green haired man get out of the car, with Harley.)

I quickly shut the curtains and start panicking.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"I-It's Joker... He he-"

"Calm down, he ain't gone hurtchu"

"T-that's where you're wrong Deadshot! H-he- I- We-"

"Hey Y/n calm down, okay?"

I start to slow my breathing.

(Shit! Y/n how'd he know you were here?!)

(I-I don't know Alyssa!)

(Shit shit SHIT!)

I look over to Deadshot and slowly climb onto his bed. I hug him tightly but not so much as to hurt him. I cuddle into his chest and feel his warmth against my body, soothing me. I then hear gunshots from the floor below me. I start to panic, I hop off the bed and try to find a place to hide.

"Fuck Deadshot! Where can I hide?!"

"Shit, I don't know..."

I run into the cabinet underneath the sink. I shut the door.

(Fuck he's gonna find me...)

(Shh, be confident.)

I then hear the gunshots get closer and closer to the room.

"Deadshot!" I whisper yell opening the door slightly.

"Don't worry doll. I'll be okay." He says whispering back.

I then start to hear doors being kicked down. I hear the door right next to mine get kicked down. Finally I hear our door get kicked open. I hold my breath as my heart beats faster and faster every second. I hear their conversation.

"Well if it isn't Deadshot." I hear Joker say

"Heya Puddin! You must know where Y/n is huh? I saw your little romance!" Harley giggles

"I don't know shit." He yells back

"Well, if you don't wanna tell us... You're gonna have a VERY BAD TIME." Harley growls

"Did you just threaten me? You just threatened me. You betta watch yo back." He growls back

"Now now, let's not make this bigger. Where is she?" Joker added

"How would I know?" Deadshot growled

"Just tell us!" Harley yelled
