You know what I find in almost every single person these days?
Lack of appriciation.
Especially for music.
When someone gets ticked off just because this or that doesn't bsound right, you know what I do? I label them.
As judgemental.
Every song,
Every beat,
Every pitch,
Every single lyric. It means something. It tells a story. Artists of all genres have their stories and opinions and their likings. They share a part of them with the world and half of the world could really love it and half could hate it. But who are you to judge?
It doesn't make any sense. Listen to the lyrics for a change.
When someone asks you to listen to a song, it's not because they just want to hear it. That song probably tells you a lot about them, what they're trying to say, or how they feel.
Sounds cheesy but its true.
So in otherwords,
Please stop saying you hate this type of music and that type of music. Because a song is a story. You could relate to it if you payed attention.
"I hate country!"
"I hate heavy metal!"
"I hate rap!"
No. Fucking stop. Please, go back to where you came from.
Leave.
Fuck off .
-love,
Madison.
