words never changed anyone’s life

and yet you are nothing more than words yourself

printed letters on a page

on an internet site

we cannot control ourselves

for we are at the mercy of the author

and yet i can still breathe

it seems illogical

impossible

nonsensical

when can i stop

there isn’t long now

just wait

keep waiting
