Chapter 2

Katniss POV

3 weeks later

Lately I've been feeling sick. I always have morning sickness and I don't know why. I also have weird cravings.....

Oh My God. No it can't be, I..i..i can't be pregnant right? Its impossible, me and Peeta did do it but it was 2 months ago unless.....

There is only one thing to know.

I called my friend Annie all the way from district four. After the rebellion she and Finnick goes back there because they're expecting.

(A/N Finnick is not dead in this fanfic)

I held the phone in my hands and called they're phone number.

"Hello, Odair's residence, Annie Odair speaking." Annie answered the phone.

"Hey Anne. uhm its Katniss and..." i was stopped by annie's squeal of excitement

"oh my, Kat how are you and Peeta?" she ask in a excited tone

"yeah uhm Peeta left me for district two and that's not problem." i answered

"oh.. so what is the problem?" she asked in a sad tone

"I can't say it in the phone.. Can I come over there?" i asked

"Sure, your always welcome here.." Annie said

"Thanks. See you soon Anne." I told her and at the same time I put the phone down.

I go to my room and pack my clothes because I will be there at four for a long time. I think for nine months if and only if i'm positive of being pregnant.

I told Haymitch my problem and he understands that I will be gone for a long time if not a short time.

So now i'm here at the train going to district four.

Peeta POV

Now i'm here in district two. Gale said he rented an apartment for us to stay in.

I really miss Katniss but this is for her own good. I remember the one thing that keeps me away from her thats why i am here. FLASHBACKS is the reason. I dont want to get her hurt because of me.

I said to Gale that Im going to establish my own bakery here. Changing the name from Mellarks bakery to Evergreen Cafe that sounds like Everdeen, stupid right.

Evergreen Cafe home of the finest cheese buns.Tribute for the Girl on fire. My love since I was five.

I think ill be here for 8 years and I promise myself to come back to district twelve and build a family with Katniss if she only forgives me.

Katniss POV

I have now arrived here in district four.

I found Annie and Finnick waiting for me at the bench near the train station. Annie was like a waddling blueberry because of her outfit. Some time now I think Annie is going to pop.

I wave at them and they saw me. We greeted each other and we walked back to their house.

Annie told me that they are expecting a finnick jr. and she told me that she's almost nine months and she's going to give birth on June. They're pretty excited by the looks of it.

Im really jealous of them.

"We now have arrived to humble home of the Odair's." Finnick said in a joking tone.

Me and Annie giggled

We walked inside.

"Feel at home. Your room is upstairs two doors at the left. Then just go here and we can talk about your problem. Don't expect me to just forget why your here."

"Thanks. I'll be back in 3min." i said

I go up to my room and unpack my clothes and think about what will I say to them.

I go downstairs again and face them

"So what's the problem Katniss?" Finnick asked

"I know that Peeta left you for two but why are not you crying, why isn't him the problem?" Annie adds

"Well, I don't care about him anymore. He doesn't care about me. If he cares why did he leave me? And I have more bigger problem." I told them

"What is it?" Annie asked

"I think im pregnant and I think it's Peeta's" I said
