Chapter 5

Peeta POV

I have just arrived to district twelve and my calculations are right, its saturday and its noon. I think that im going to change plans. Im going to meet the lady today at 5:00 pm at the cafe. I called Jen and told her, she said that she agreed which means that I have plenty of time to visit Haymitch and unpack my things and change into comfortable clothes.

When I arrived at the Victors Village I realized that it change a lot, I mean a lot. Well I went to my house, unpack my things and change into comfortable clothes.

I went outside and realized that I don't remember where Haymitch house is. Is it the right or left. Oh well, i'll just guess

knock, knock

I was suprised at what I saw it was a little girl that looked like her but it can't be.

"uhm hello, sir, are you there?" she said. She just sounds like her. I woke up in my daydream and answered her

"yeah, sorry. im just wondering if Haymitch Abernathy lives here.."i asked

"no, he lives on the other house."she answered

"oh thank you, by the way im Peeta. How bout you what's your name?" i asked in childish tone

"Willow Isabel at your service sir. My mom calls me Isabel but the others call me Willow." she exclaim

"oh okay nice meeting you Willow." i said

"you too sir. I think you need to better get going cause I know gramps doesn't accept strangers." she said

"oh okay bye." i said

Well she was adorable. I am wondering why did she looked like her. If your wondering who her is, its Katniss Everdeen, my one and only love ever since I heard her sing

I finaly arrived at the Abernathy house. I knocked many times but the door didn't open. I was about to try and knock again when a familiar voice stops me. I turn around and saw her. She was still the Katniss Everdeen that I love but more mature now. She was shocked that she saw me for all the years that i've been gone.

"Peeta? Is that you? and Haymitch is not there, his in district six doing business" she asked with her angelic voice

I was about to answer when I saw Willow, the girl from the other house run towards her and calls her mommy. I was shocked at first but I know this will happen.

She told Willow to go back to the house and wait for her then she ask me again

"Peeta, why are you here? I thought you lived in district two now."

"Yeah, I know but.......... I said to myself that i'll be back here to say sorry to you and if you forgive me we can start building are own family. I know it's stupid but I guess the start our building are own family is too good to be true but Katniss even if its too good to be true I want you to know that im truly sorry for leaving you behind here in district twelve with nothing but Haymitch." Well that was long..

"Oh. Well I forgive you but why did you left?" she asked

"I just dont want to see the ruins of district twelve. Also im afraid that I will hurt you because of my Flashbacks. I have learned to control them for years now. That is also the reason why I came back.

"Well nice seeing you again but I need to go get my daughter ready, we are meeting someone at the cafe and its almost time so yeah. See you later Peeta." she said

After that conversation I felt relieved but at the same time sad because the girl of my dreams has her own family now.

Oh shoot, Im late for my appointment. Its almost 5:00 and I need to get ready

I sprint to the bathroom, turn the shower on and start the things I need to do here in the shower. After I go get my clothes and sprint towards the door and start running to the cafe

I was panting when I finally came. The girl from the counter immediately came to me and gave me water. I think she knows that I am the owner because she leads me to one of the rooms there where a woman and her daughter is waiting for me

She opened the door and let me in the she left and at the same time closed the door. The lady turned around and I was shocked.because it was Katniss. I can also tell that she is shocked seeing me.

Katniss POV

I was shocked that Peeta was the owner of this cafe. So now I know why does the cheese buns taste familiar.

"I didn't know that you were the owner if this cafe." i told him

"Hi Mr. Peeta!" my daughter said

"Hi Will & Katniss. I didn't know either that you were the ones that I have an appointment to." he said

There was an akward silence after that...

"So Jen said that you want me to make a birthday for your daughter, is that right?" he asked

He sounds serious when he asked me

"Well yeah and uhm... I want it finish on December 11. She will be eight then." i answered

"Oh so your going to be big girl?" he asked Willow

"Yeah. So that's why I want to be girl by now because mommy said if I became eight I will know who is my daddy." she exclaimed

I was shocked at what she said then I clamped her mouth, Peeta is wearing a confused face and asked me if he heard right that Willow doesn't have a Dad.

"uhm.. sweetie can you go ouy for a while me and mr. Peeta are just going to talk about adult things kay." i told her and she nodded

Then she walks out the room quietly

"Kat, im waiting for an answer!"
