Chapter 21

The look on his face was one of confusion, shock and disbelief. He shifted his feet, swaying from one side to another. He wiped the sweat from his neck, unsure of what to say.
He cleared his throat. Darcy looked at him, waiting to hear what he had to say.

Justin's POV:

"You miss her?" I asked her, my breath getting a bit to shaky for my liking.

"Yes, Justin. I do." Darcy's voice cracked, tears swelled up in her eyes.

"Um, okay. Relax. Pull out your phone and text her." I said, pulling out her phone from the drawer beside her.

"O-Okay."  Her fingers danced.

@/darcy_bieber:
Hey, Sweetie. I hope ur okay.

A reply came a minute later.

@/belieber_brave:
Hey. I'm fine. Just really busy.

@/darcy_bieber:
Okay.

She didn't get a response after two minutes.
"See? She's okay." I said after grabbing her phone and putting it back on the nightstand.

"What's going on?" I ask, sitting on the bed and tangling my arm around her neck.

"I feel like something bad is going to happen." She whispered, leaving the room.

A vibrating sound came from my pants pocket. I took out my phone, looked at the caller ID and realized it was a unknown number. I decided to answer the call anyway because what was the worse that could happen?

"Hello?" I said into the speaker, gripping the phone tighter.

"Hello, Justin!" A female voice rang into my ear. I was immediately confused. I didn't recognize the voice at all.

"Who are you?" I asked, breathing a little faster than I wanted to.

"J? Don't you remember me? I'm Maddie." The girl said.
"I don't know a Maddie." I said, not putting the pieces together.

"From kik." I almost dropped my phone. This was getting seriously creepy.

"How the fuck did you get my number?" I asked, harshly.

"Research." She simply said, like it wasn't a huge invasion of privacy.

"You don't stalk people, get their numbers and CALL THEM!" I yelled the last two words.

"I'm sowwy." She said, like a child trying not to get scolded by her parents. I heavily sighed, rubbing my temples. This was giving me a headache already.

"Just...." I couldn't figure out the words to say. I wanted to yell at her. Tell her she was an awful person for doing this. Tell her to never call me again. Finally, I figured out the words to say.

"Do you want me to get Darcy on the phone?" I asked. It didn't take even a minute for her to answer with a yes.

I yelled for Darcy to come up for a minute. Footsteps were getting closer and closer until the door opened up.

"Someone wants to talk to you." I said, giving her my iPhone 6.

"Hello?" She said, biting her lip. Her grip on the device got tighter, just like my did.

"Hello Darcy." Maddie's voice rang her my ears once again. I had forgotten I had put on the phone on speaker mode.

"Who is this?" Darcy said, just as confused as I was.

"Maddie." The name started to annoy very quickly.
"Um...." Darcy looked at me with a "what the fuck?" look. I shook my head, silently telling her I had no clue what was going on either.

"Kik." I quickly mouthed. Her eyes changed immediately. They almost seemed....brighter?

"Hi Maddie! It's so good to finally meet you!" Darcy yelled happily. My mouth dropped in complete and utter shock. Is she serious?

"I knew you would understand! Justin was pissed." Maddie said, sadly. Darcy looked at me with an angry expression and left the room.

Darcy's POV:

"How are you?" I asked her. Her voice was sweet, almost calming.

"I'm good." She said, giggling that I was talking to her.

"Well, that's good." Preparing to do a complete U turn. I took a big breathe.

"Because IT WAS A COMPLETE INVASION OF PRIVACY!" I ended up screaming. I could hear her sniffling.

"I-I'm s-sorry." She sobbed. I told her to never call or text me again and that our friendship is over.

A/N: Woah. That was intense. Do you think what Maddie did was wrong? Don't forget to vote if you liked it and leave your comments below!
