He Asks You Out- Pike

This is different than most chapters because it is going to take place when Pike was at the Starfleet Academy. This is also pretty short because of my stupid computer. Also it was weird typing Pike's and Marcus' first names. You will see I shortened the names as most people would.

You have been at Starfleet for only 3 months and its actually rather boring and you only knew one person. Christopher Pike who you knew since you were 12. You two were like brother and sister and some people asked if you were related some how.
You had almost didn't join Starfleet if your friend wasn't there to ask you to join. He wouldn't be there if that one annoying kid didn't tell Pike to join. You two did almost everything together.....Almost
It was one week he didn't show up to his classes (since you had most of the same) and when you asked one of your teachers, they had told you he had been moved to advanced classes and started training to become a Captain. He was one year above you and it didn't surprise you that he was advanced.
It was a cool November day and everyone was in the courtyard either flirting with their boyfriend or studying. Since you didn't have a boyfriend, you just read a book. You were somewhat of a nerd but honestly, you didn't care what people said. You finally put the book down when someone approached.
"Hello (Y/N). You look pretty today" You looked up to see none other than Alexander Marcus who had a huge crush on you which was annoying. The comment doesn't makes you smile either since you all wear red or grey. Sighing, you reply without hesitation.
"You know, if I wanted people flirting with me, I would have gotten a boyfriend." and you grin at him. Alex sits down next to you and puts and arm around your shoulders.
"I think it's time to fix that" it has been only 3 months and this is already happening. "(Y/N) will you be my girlfriend?"
You push him away and get up quickly, "Of course not! I'd be surprised if you EVER got a girlfriend. I'd never want anyone like you"
That makes him angry. Instead of exploding like he usually would, Alex just walks away to his group of friends who are also surprised their friend was rejected. He will now be the only one in that group who was single. It would be better for everyone if it stayed that way.
Across the courtyard, you see the person you wanted to see for some time now. Chris makes his way to the tree you were under to finally talk.
"Thank god you're here. I can't stand Marcus" you laugh a little. He smiles as well and gives you a quick hug.
"I'm sorry I have not talked or seen you lately. You already know why."
Yes. You do. It makes you sad it might be like this for a while so you try to make the best of this meeting.
"How long will you be training?"
When his reply is the rest of the year, your smile drops and your heart shatters. You hols back the tears and have to accept that you two were not 12 anymore. That was many years ago.
"I'm sorry and I know your sad and even though we are not going to see each other often...." You were going to refuse for the first time and walk away but you could of swore you heard him wrong but that was wrong too,"will you go out with me?"
Instead of screaming your yes like most girls, you hug him and whisper it in his ear.
"Of course."
It almost not a shock when he takes pulls you into a kiss. After all those years, you never expected his lips would be soft or warm (cliché and i know it). You pull apart in time to see Alex's rage.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
