Your P.O.V
Me and Chekov have been dating for only a year and he was the most adorable person in the galaxy. I didn't want anything to happen to him. Neither of us wanted to be separated.
I should have known something was going to happen. Now I don't know if we will ever see each other again.
-Earlier that day-
We didn't spend as much time as i would have liked in Yorktown. It was a beautiful city even if the physics didn't make any sense.
Another mission, another day, another day in space.
I didn't fear space like McCoy but after awhile it got a little boring.
I had the position of (insert your position) on the Bridge but wasn't always needed. In time I wanted to take a nap before anything actually happened.
I left my chair and headed towards my quarters. It was a long walk but being on the Enterprise for years,it seemed like it was just around the corner.
I lie in bed and thought about what the future had in store for all of us. More battles? More chances for us to die? It is too much. We have suffered too much. Knowing what we do isn't what it supposed to be, this journey won't be easy. At all. It's too......normal.
When does anything normal happen anymore? We have had 3 years so there is bound to be something.

JUST where that star above

Shines with a cold, dispassionate smile --

If in the flesh I'd travel there,

How many, many a mile!

If this, my soul, should be

Unprisoned from its earthly bond,

Time could not count its markless flight

Beyond that star, beyond!
I've heard enough poems in my life but it calms be and the words sooth me.
Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people
I would have thought my father said that if I didn't know the Captain. I've thought about that for a very long time and never got what it meant until now.
-After you fall asleep-
I awaken to the sound of an alarm and red lights fill my room. I quickly swing my legs off the bed and run towards the bridge. I hear crashes, screams, and orders in many different directions. I almost made it to the lift to the bridge until the wall next to me explodes and I am thrown to the side.
I don't dare to get up because whoever or whatever steps on to the Enterprise, kills anyone near and makes others run.

When they finally walk the opposite way, I get up and realize the side of my head is drenched with blood. I have no time to get to the Medical Bay, which is probably blown up by now, and it isn't that bad so I won't die.
I quickly jog to the lift and push the button to the bridge.
The first thing I hear when I step out is my name from the Captain.
"What the hell happened?" he asks going up to me.
I pant a little from running a lot, "Whoever is attack, they have come on board. A wall exploded and I barely got away."
"Well, it's good you are alive."
I sit in my chair and do what I can to help the entire situation.
-Later after the saucer is separated-
Kirk stands in the middle of the bridge with everyone staring at him and he looks at everyone else.
"Abandon the ship."
Without hesitation, everyone gets up and heads towards their assigned pods while me, the captain, Sulu, and Chekov stay put.
"You need to go." Chekov says to me actually in a worried tone, "now!"
"No!" I reject.
"You must. You have a chance of surviving."
I don't move, "No! I am not leaving you."
"(Y/N)," he places his hands on my shoulders and looks into my (E/C) eyes, "I will come for you. I will find you."
Now I am actually crying. I don't try to stop the tears dripping down my face. I still refuse to leave my position. Sulu comes from behind me and drags me away from the one person I promised I would not be separated from. He pulls me towards a random pod and pushes me in. Before I can get out, he closes the glass door.
"I'm sorry." he says to me and pushes the button to release the pod.
I watch the Enterprise become farther and farther away from me and watch it get pulled by the planet's gravity. I think there is hope for my safety until something knocks into me, and I black out.
